Hey there! I'm not at all new to the fan fiction scene... actually I've been a reader for several years. For a long time I've entertained the idea of writing a fanfic of my own, but I never really had the time to sit down and get started. Now that I'm off at college (odd i know, normally college screws your life) I've found free time and I intend to use it. I guess the best place to start is give a little bit of info about me.

Hobbies and Activities: I'm a BIG fan of hockey, and when I can I'll play a pick-up round of any sport. I've read the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I liked it and am eagerly awaiting the final book. You may see a few concepts from various books I've read.

Regarding the Potter Series: All in all I love the series, and there is plenty of room for ideas, though I think many have been used. However I feel that the last 2 books weren't as great as the others. Let's face it JKR spent a LOT of time from her life on these books. I'm sure she wanted to move on, but being a good author and loyal to her fans-she finished it. I'm not a hardcore shipper. Sure I may like one more than another, but every writer brings something different to the table. I intend to do the same. If I get a chance I'll play around with H/G and HP/HG. I want to get my first one either well established or done. I'm always open to suggestions and ideas, though can't promise that they'll find their way in

Harry Potter and the House of the Badger-This is my first fan fic. Its main premise is how things would be if Harry had met up with a different group of people. I plan to use canon as a guideline for the first four years. For those who are curious, pairings will be hinted at and then revealed at a later date. To be honest, I'm sure some may have figured them out by now. Harry will not be with Ginny or Hermione. In fact those two and Ron will be almost a non-factor in this fic. I do plan to include Fred and George from time to time, but plans oft go awry. The rating is currently set at T, though as time goes on and the fic undoubtedly gets darker and more mature I will most likely up the rating. I have finished year one and have begun the second year.I have a general outline of what I want ot have happen throughout the years, but it gets more vague after 4th year. I have a bunch of ideas after that, but they haven't been organized quite yet.

I'm currently in the process of writing Year Two and planning Year Three. Year Three is proving to be slightly trickier, as I don't have the Time Turner, so I'm working on taking that into account while moving this fic in the direction I want it to go. Progress is at a steady pace, but I know it'll really take shape as soon as I start writing it. I can't wait for Fourth Year though. That's when I can really crank things up! Ships (yep, I'm going to officially reveal them!), action, new concepts and magic...I'm fairly sure that there's going to be something for everybody. Though I have a feeling some of you may be a touch upset with me with some of the things I have lined up. But it'll all tie together, I promise!

Anyways, if you've read all this want to send any tips, ideas, or questions, feel free to do so! I can't promise I'll incorporate the ideas or be able to be clear with answers (can't spoil it for you now, can i?), but I'll do the best I can.
