I am a somewhat foolish and strange 17 year old. I model my fiction to border on shocking, (including rape/drugs/homosexuality/depression/suicide) and I tend to write accordingly. My likes and dislikes and other random thoughts are as follows:

Favorite Authors: Daniel Handler, AM Homes, John Irving, DH Lawrence, Chuck Palahniuk, Amy Hempel, and of course the classics- Nathaniel Hawthorne, Shakespeare, Jane Austen, etc.

Favorite Movies: Running With Scissors, Requiem For A Dream, Quills, 21 Grams, Atonement, Straightheads

Favorite Bands: Menomena is my heroin fix. Others include The Duke Spirit, Metric, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Notwist

Stuff I Do: Writing terrible, disgusting, putrid things; of course. Music, since I was five. Splashing paint on old bedsheets- I hang them in my windows to dry and my neighbors are all O-o. Watching old episodes of The X-Files with my friends and laughing at how not scary they are now that we've grown up. Being funny and light and nice- it's a New Year's thing for the past, like, five years. (I tend to border on the bitchy neurotic side) And high school band. Where would I be without it? ; )

Now for fan fiction-

If written in a good way, I like femmeslash. (Carly/Sam, BEWARE)

I ship almost anything, read anything with an attractive summary, my favorite ff is probably for ASoUE, though.

I LOATHE and DESPISE all things Harry Potter and Twilight related, including fan fiction for them. I find no substance whatsoever to those novels. (On the contrary, the Twilight movie was sort of adorable)

I like these ASoUE pairings: Violet/Olaf, Kit/Olaf, Esme/Olaf- I ship all things Olaf. I love him. Violet/Fiona, Kit/Dewey, Klaus/Fiona, Violet/Quigley also.

LEMONY/BEATRICE: I want that love...

FLO/TOCUNA: The white faced women are the best characters ever.

I lived for Mulder/Scully; back in the day.

iCarly is something I watch that I don't like to be caught watching. All my mom can say is, "You're too old study for SATS damnit"; but I really like the idea of Carly/Sam, Sam/Freddie, anything crushing that tween innocence...not to sound weird or
anything.

Josh Peck, although assumingly gay, I would love to put my arms around. Goes the same for Corbin Bleu- DAMN that teen crush syndrome.

Keira Knightley's attempted Pride and Predjudice thing made me want to throw up. Her mouth is huge. It's called MASTERPIECE THEATRE, you acting abortion.

Rapefics are freaking awesome. Violet/Olaf forever until Daniel Handler files a lawsuit...although that would probably never happen...

The ASoUE movie was painful. Jim Carrey is not my Olaf, in any way shape or form. Nor is the textbook teen heartthrob Liam Aiken anywhere near the awkward, glasses toting Klaus Baudelaire. And why did Sunny have hair when Brett Helquist draws her bald? And why did Emily Browning have to go and get her lips plumped up at such a young age? UGH Hollywood SUCKS

Anyways.

It may take me a number of weeks to decide what to post here- I write frequently; using fan fiction as a sort of warm-up to my real work. Thought I'd share it here anyway though ; ) .
