Yo. My name is Mega, and once upon a time I was a fan fiction writer.

Many years ago I was incredibly active on this site. I was constantly on the lookout for quality fanfics, composing hundreds of reviews, and contributing here and there where I could. I was a regular member at multiple forums on this site, including being a moderator over at The Reviews Lounge, Too and one of the original members of the group that eventually settled into the This is Not a Forum, both of which are now sadly pretty much defunct. And of course with this being a writing website and all, I even tried my hand at writing a few fics here and there too.

So what changed? Well, after a couple years of being on this site, I found myself becoming increasingly dissatisfied by the type of content that I was putting out, primarily with my stories. I ended up discontinuing my original work and attempted to start multiple projects that I believed to be bigger and grandeur and definitely much better written, only to become increasingly frustrated and give up shortly after starting them. It ended up getting to the point where I no longer had any confidence in my writing abilities nor found any joy in the process. So eventually, I left, and decided to focus on other aspects of my life.

After being gone for years however, I have recently found myself drifting slowly but surely back on to the site. My activity is no where near where it once was of course, but I have started to become interested in seeing just what kind of stories are out there now for me to discover. Does this mean that I am back? To be honest, probably not. At this point, I have no plans on continuing any of my old stories, nor do I see myself ever getting back to the point where I once was with everything that I used to do. But for now I will be around, and we will just have to wait and see where that ends up taking me.
