Author has written 24 stories for Digimon, and Card Captor Sakura. Hey, Starchick-san here ^_^ I know I probably have absolutely no right to be updating it again so long after my last update of my last fanfic, "Of Princes and Nutcrackers". When I started that story, I was a sophomore in high school. Now I'm about two months from graduation. And there are so many times when I've wanted to just sit down and continue it, but nothing ever came to mind, and I was worried about how it would turn out.So while I don't expect anyone to still be interested after such a long time, I'll still try to explain myself anyway: Obviously, if I ever get it finished, "Of Nutcrackers and Princes" will likely be my last CCS fanfiction piece. And I'm very, very, very sorry to all the readers of this fic out there who have asked me to continue it, and I haven't been able to live up to their hopes. Here's the thing; I WANT to continue it, I want to very badly, but I haven't written Card Captor Sakura fanfiction in a very long time, and my writing style is pretty different from the way it was two years ago. So if I DO finish the fanfic, the next chapter won't have the same tone, or maybe even the same feel, as the first chapter did. And this is why I'm hesitant: so if anyone would like me to continue/finish the fanfic regardless of this minor problem (because I AM still sure that I'll be able to write the chapter well enough, it's just that the tone and wording of the fic might not be the same), then please email me at my email address *points above* or leave a review under "Of Princes and Nutcrackers" to let me know, and I'll have it finished before this Christmas. I have promised SO many people that I will finish this fanfic, and while it may not seem so at the moment, I DO prefer to keep my promises, but I have to know what you guys want when it comes to this fic, first. ^^* So...yeah...I still love you all, thank you ENDLESSLY to all the reviewers who have told me what they think of my fanfics...and to any reviewer who is STILL putting up with me after this long, I give my love forever, and the next chapter I write is SO dedicated to you! For the record, if anyone still cares, there is only supposed to be one more chapter of "Of Princes and Nutcrackers" -- I originally planned for the fic to be written in two parts/two different chapters, because the "Nutcracker Ballet" is presented in only two seperate Acts. Therefore, if I manage to finish this last chapter, the story will be finished and curiousity will be satisfied (trust me, I know it sounds very hypocritical of me to say so, but I absolutely can't stand unfinished fanfictions...this one has been eating at me for years). And because I remembered I placed a sort of "find the Harry Potter reference" challenge in the first chapter of "Of Princes and Nutcrackers" that no one ever got to find the answer to...I'll tell you now; I reread through the reviews, and though a lot of people came SO close, no one really quite got it. At Sonomi's Christmas party, when everyone was watching the magician perform: "Then [Clow Reed-sama] marched up to a woman in the crowd-- Sakura recognized her as one of Father's fellow professors-- and before anyone could blink, pulled a bouquet of flowers out of her ear. The crowd clapped appreciatively, before the bouquet suddenly exploded into a dazzling shower of red, golden, green and silver stars." Gold and red are the official colours of Gryffindor House, while silver and green are the colours of Slytherin. ^_^ I can't help it, both are my very favourite Houses at Hogwarts. I'm really sorry if it was too hard to find! Check out the people on my favourite authors, and also the stories on my fave stories list; they are all still AMAZING writers, and you'll find so many good fanfics. Thanks once more, ~Starchick |
