Author has written 12 stories for Halloween, Bat Boy: The Musical, Love Never Dies, Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Wanted, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Glass Prism I'm a teacher who enjoys reading, writing, musicals, and changing fandoms with every story. Stories Visiting Hours and The Photo - Written for the Halloween series (Rob Zombie version); these were my first uploaded stories, focusing on the brother/sister relationship between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. The first is a what-could-have-happened scenario between Michael and Laurie; the second an "origin story" of an important photo seen in the remake. Thunderclouds and Vignettes - Written for Bat Boy The Musical, a truly odd but charming little musical with an absolutely minuscule fandom. The first is an AU that gets truly melodramatic at times, the second a series of scenes from different characters' perspectives throughout the musical. I'm honestly a little ashamed of these. Into Light - A rewriting of Love Never Dies, which I have a love-hate relationship with. To be honest, the part I was most interested in was actually the last chapters, focusing on the Phantom and Gustave. I'm just such a sucker for father-son relationships, but I had to go through so much buildup to get to it. It's the Little Things - Written for the Wanted fandom (2008 action film featuring a lot of physics-defying gun shooting), focusing on the barely-hinted-at and rather tragic father-son relationship between Wesley Gibson and Cross (I told you, I love father-son family relationships). I had so many chapters written for this, mainly AU canon-divergence stuff, but ultimately only two got posted because I lost interest. Distraction, Where You Go, and Let the World Sink - Written for the Dark Knight trilogy, after I fell spectacularly hard for the Bane/Talia relationship, though I was always more interested in the platonic, protector-child aspect of it. Distraction was a response to a prompt on LiveJournal's TDKR Anonymous Kink Meme. Where You Go was a fun one to write, though the storyline changed drastically between rough draft and the final, posted copy. Let the World Sink is probably my favorite though, particularly the last chapter. Bringing together Bane, Talia, and Ra's al Ghul was very cool. On the Children - A Pirates of the Caribbean fic. I used to be a fan of the series back in high school, and the release of the fifth movie piqued my interest, particularly the fact that one of the characters was the son of Will Turner and was trying to free him from his curse. Hey, I said it already, I love father-child relationships. In particular, I was fascinated by all the parallels between Henry and Will and Will and Bootstrap Bill. The fic was written before the fifth movie came out, which is why it's an AU, but it was fun and nice to write in a larger fandom. Rules of Conduct and Rules of Transferal - So this is a series now, apparently. Rules of Conduct was written in 2016 upon my unexpected descent back into the Halloween fandom. It's kind of a "spiritual successor" to Visiting Hours and kind of a mish-mash of the Zombieverse, the Thorn timeline, and the H20 timeline. I really just wanted to write a happier ending where Laurie gains some kind of closure on her trauma and forms, if not a good relationship with Michael, then at least one where they're not both trying to kill each other. Rules of Transferal is its sequel and was written after the 2018 movie came out and is heavily inspired by it. Both of these are some of my most popular and well-reviewed fics, and I'm honestly kind of proud of both. |
