When a corrupted goddess steals the Moon away to the Underworld, Moana and Maui are forced to traverse the ocean and the Realm of Monsters to bring back the fire stolen from the realm beneath the waves long ago. Lalotai is vast and the entrance to the Underworld shrouded, and so they will need help from unexpected allies if they are to restore the Moon to the night sky.

Origin story. When Melanie is employed by a suspect institution in the wilderness, imagination begins to blur into reality. It swiftly becomes apparent that a darkness haunts the building, whether it be the shadows lurking around every corner, or the mysterious beat poet who haunts her dreams. Who is he and why does he need her help? Oliver/Melanie

Lister feels more down and confused than he's ever felt in his life. Humouring Kryten's endeavour to find a mysterious craft known as a Knowledge Station, he hopes that it might hold all of the answers. Rimmer, meanwhile, is incapable of coping with just about anything.

Things that definitely didn't exist: Ghosts and Arnold Rimmer's love life. Maybe Lister should have thought twice about going into the ghost ship the Dwarfers discover orbiting an ocean moon. Then again, he never did mind proving himself wrong.

(Sequel to The Trials of California.) Scout and Sniper fail to renew their contracts and begin their journey into the big, wide world, but the light of opportunity casts many shadows. Sometimes, reality is more of a prison than any imaginary world provided by machines.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth lives in England with her son, pining for the ocean. Little does she know that her former life is about to come crashing back. Barbossa/Elizabeth (Unfinished, for now.)
