"Betty's First Trip To Rome The Prequel" This story, featuring humor and angst, starts at the baseball game (Jump) and ends on the flight to Rome. Recap:

Outraged by Gio's startling grope after the Mode versus Elle baseball game, Betty cancels her trip to Rome, refuses to speak to him, and plans to leave Mode before he returns. When Daniel finds out Betty is quitting because she never wants to see Gio again, he visits the deli to discover Gio, unable to delay his imminent flight, mired in deep despair, and teams up with Hilda to hatch a plan to mend the relationship, racing to pull it off before Gio's departure dashes all hope of them reconciling.

"Betty's First Trip To Rome" This story, a fluffy saccharine romance, describes Gio and Betty's tour of Rome and concludes with a fairly tale ending. Recap:

Barely speaking the day they land in Rome, Gio, with utmost courtesy, skillfully escorts Betty on an amazing insider's tour of the most romantic city on earth, and, in due course, she falls for the charm of his adoring attentiveness and Italian manliness. Following a particularly romantic dinner for two, Betty shyly invites him to make love to her, but Gio, still hurting from their traumatic fight and wary of becoming her temporary vacation fling, devises an odd puzzle she must solve before he'll bed her. Betty, becoming increasingly frustrated by spending day after delightful day, but no nights, with an ever more alluring Gio, hunts for the puzzle's answer within her memories and her heart.

"Betty's First Trip To Rome The Return" This is the story I would want for season 3. Includes many characters from the show. What could go wrong when the newly engaged couple, Gio & Betty, return to New York? Recap:

After a glorious idyllic vacation in Rome, newly engaged Betty and Gio return to resume their challenging jobs during the blazing hot New York summer. Wilhelmina soon entices Betty into taking on her pet charity project turning her into an unwitting accomplice in a devious scheme to disgrace Daniel. And, when Gio, secretly broke, adds moonlighting to the already punishing schedule of his ambitious five-year plan, he risks losing more than sleep.

"Betty Bumped into a Friend in London" (8,000 words in 3 chapters, may continue some day). First chapter published on March 13, 2010. Based on spoilers for episode "London Calling" episode 4.18 (air date March 31, 2010). Warning - heavy on angst!

"Today's Special is the Jerk-Chicken Salad" Two years after 4.20 (series finale) an overstressed workaholic Betty, vacationing in the Bahamas, walks into a quaint beach-side restaurant and is stunned to suddenly come face to face with its surfer-dude owner, a tanned, long-haired and laid-back Gio. Heavy on the angst.
