ok, it took me forever just to figure out how to do this profile thing. as you can tell, im not very computer-savvy.

right now, my big brother is being a major pain. if i misspell some things, it's most likely because i can't see the screen due to the fact that he put me in a headlock.

ok, so this is a little about me:

1. i'm still trying to figure out my opinion on things, but once i do, i have a firm belief in them and i will fight to prove that im right (hey! i can rhyme! fight, right... nvm)

2. im obsessed with Harry Potter fanfiction. especially slash.

3. i was born, baptised, raised, and confirmed a Catholic, but recently i switched religions to Wicca.

4. my parents are probably the strictest to walk this planet. i hate having to be around them, we fight about everything, and they believe that, even though im in high school, i don't deserve indepenence of any kind (except the "independence and responsibility" of mowing the lawn and cleaning the house)

5. i have four brothers. i am the middle child and only girl of the family. i only get along with one of my brothers and he's the youngest.

6. i have original style, especially when it comes to clothes, and my theme song is SHARADA, by Skye Sweetnum

7. i am completely random... and an evil psychotic monkey chicken

8. i love my bestestestestestestest friend in the entire world

9. (big brother is back again. ugh i wish he would leave me alone!) my mom wants me to become anorexic (slight exaggeration- she just gives me these looks whenever I eat a snack, and makes snide comments)

10. my pant size is 3. bra size is 34D. (ya, random. sry)

11. im generally happy, but sometimes my self esteem can suffer a teensy weensy bit

12. im sick of high school and cant wait to move out of the house

I really couldn't care less what happens so long as it's not, like, a dictatorship. but im pro-gay marriage (duh). about abortion, im pro chioce, though my parents have tried very hard to make me pro life. i personally don't think it's moral to commit an abortion, but im not going to force people to see things my way, unlike my parents.

HARRY POTTER:

Luna...
is the most awesome character. ever. she is my role model, she is gorgeous, and i love her. she can smile when the times are as dark as they're going to get. she has a certain childlike, carefree innocence that i just adore. and, despite the fact that she talks about wrackspurts and nargles and crumple-horned snorkaks, she is quite intelligent.

Hermione...
can sometimes be annoying, but is a very loyal friend. sometimes she can be bossy and doesn't understand a lot that Harry is going through, but she can also be kind and compassionate.

Harry...
takes things too seriously, but is also able to figure things out quickly. he is very brave and you can relate to him on a personal level.

Ginny...
is also brave and the perfect partner for Harry (though i am not a strong supporter of Harry/Ginny because then Ginny couldn't be with Luna or Hermione). She is strong-willed and determined and she fights for what she believes is right.

Draco...
is really cute!! he has grown up in a dark family, but despite that he has a sense of what's right and wrong, but is afraid to act upon it for fear of seeming weak or being rejected. And if Harry were gay, Draco would definately be his soulmate (just because they look soooo adorable together)

Ron...
can be arrogant, but adds a much needed comic relief to the books. he is a good and loyal friend, at least until DH. i got really mad at him for leaving, but was glad when he returned. he is scared of the fighting and would much rather be at home, eating good food and being generally comfy. but he will eventually do what's right and stick by his friends.

Fred and George...
are the reason lol was created. they are brave and funny at the same time. i only wish i could go to their shop...

Dumbledore...
looks adorable with Grindlewald. he is a very strong character and has a quiet, serene dignity about him. and of course he is very smart and powerful. but i got mad at him in OotP and HBP, in OotP because he was avoiding Harry so much, and in HBP because he was being a lot more rude than he had been in previous books. my theory is that JKR was trying to make it easier for us to let go of him when he died. :C

Snape...
originally i hated his guts... that is, until he died. i am not ashamed to say that his death caused me to cry more than all of the others put together. i couldnt even imagine how much pain he had to have gone through in his life, both sides thinking him a traitor, no one loving him. even Lily rejected him! i wanted them to end up together...

Lily...
reminds me a lot of Ginny. you didn't really get to know her character that well, but you can tell that she's really smart and has been through a lot (though not as much as Harry, obviously) and she should never have gone out with James, because she and Snape are meant to be together.

James...
is arrogant and stupid and i completely hate him. no more needs to be said.

Sirius...
can be funny and all that jazz... but can also be full of himself. and he can have a short temper.

Lupin...
originally I liked him, in PoA, but then in DH, I got really mad at him for wanting to leave Tonks and the baby. But then when he and Tonks died, I still cried alot.

Voldemort...
is misunderstood. Sure, he's evil and stuff but did anyone even TRY to understand his plea for attention that he was so deprived of as a child? He had no parents and grew up around neglect and hatred in an orphanage (sound familiar? like Harry?) And he SO wanted to be admired.

Pettrigrew...
is a coward, but there might actually have been hope for him. He felt remorse for Harry when he was about to kill him, which was the death of him.

Tonks...
is awesome. I can relate to her clumsiness and I wish I were, like her, a Metamorphagus. She has a great sense of humor, though sometimes you wish she would stop.

Bellatrix...
Is a devoted servant. She and Voldemort would have looked cute together. She does what she has been taught to believe in, which happens to be the dark arts.

Narcissa...
Loves her son very much and wants badly to fit in, but isn't always able to take the heat of being a Death Eater. If she and Bellatrix weren't related... they would totally be cute together.

CIRQUE DU FREAK:

Darren...
is brave and nobel, but, at times, foolish. and his soulmate shouldve been Evra. If only i could create a book 3 1/2...

Evra...
is an amazing character. He was my favorite in the series, until he just dropped out in the 4th book. (I've only read books 1-4, but thats because I only heard about the series about a month ago.)

Larten Crepsley...
is an honest character. I don't know why Darren hated him so much at first. He has a conscience, and he uses it wisely. He just needs to let go of some of the traditional standards he has set into his mind.

Sam...
is slightly obnoxious and full of it. he doesn't know what's good for him, and while I was sad when he died, he would only have made the series more complicated.

Gavnur...
is funny, but he needs to quit sneaking up on people, he's going to get himself killed.

Kurda...
has the right ideas. he is a pacifist, and I find that very intriguing, especially in a vampire. though, sometimes he takes it a little too far. I think Darren did the right, though stupid, thing by accepting Arra's challenge.

Arra...
is a fierce warrior, but she's too uptight. she needs to loosen up and accept that there may be some out there that are actually better than her.

Gay Marriage

1) Gay marriage is not natural, and as Americans, we always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and lyposuction.

2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears's 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans...
