: Hello, world. This is the fanfiction profile of My Misguided Fairytale, otherwise known as the illustrious Jess.

: Jess is a college student/vociferous reader/and fan of all things pink. Hence the heart themes xD

: Jess reads all fandoms and pairings, but she is especially fond of Yu-gi-oh!, Bleach, Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, Grimm, etc, etc, etc, although she's really not kidding when she says she reads everything. It doesn't even matter if she's never even read/seen/heard of whatever fandom it is. Jess enjoys stories of the happy, fluffy variety, but she has also been known to write and read darker, more tragic stuff. It all really depends on Jess's mood and the kind of music she is listening to at the moment.

: Jess reviews on everything she reads (...Everything! I mean it!). That being said, she's the person to go to if you want your story completely ripped apart. Her choice in major means that she studies the English language far more than any normal person does, and she enjoys imparting her knowledge. She abhors typos. They are not her friends. So, that being said, do not get angry at her when she does not sugarcoat what she says. Jess believes that you learn more from constructive criticism than you do from near-mindless praise, anyway. She knows she appreciates it when someone can tell her to her face when she writes something that's sub-par. She doesn't flame, but she always provide the strongest constructive criticism that she can.

: Jess is also the sometime-beta for the infamous Doubleplusgoodduckspeaker, who has succeeded with her brainwashing--I mean, non-violent persuasion--to join the YGO Fanfiction Competition for Season 7. She is pleased to announce that she has placed second in the competition, and will once again be trying her hand at taking the top spot for Season 8!
