 Author has written 42 stories for Torchwood, Doctor Who, and Merlin. Overhaul time! So I'm finally updating this thing - hopefully to match my shiny new LJ layout. Torchwood feels like it will very soon be a thing of the past. As much as I adored the Jack/Ianto fandom over the lasst couple of years, I've found that the announcement of series 4 has been the final straw when it comes to my tolerance - and therefore my enjoyment. I've loved my fanfic reading and writing over the past couple of years, but it's time for me to step away from Torchwood and Jack/Ianto for a while. There's fic that I've written and posted to LJ, but not here, so there will still be 'new' stuff from me - and I'll be completing the final chapter of 'Just A Scratch' soon - but when that runs out, I can't honestly say when there'll be more. For those of you who are interested, I'm now writing Merlin/Arthur fanfic for the BBC Merlin series. Those boys are much closer to my age and I've read several Modern!AUs that hve done wonders for my confidence when i think about going to university next year and that's something I feel I need. The fandom is younger and that's something that's really refreshing and invigorating and I've found my writer head again! I thought I'd lost it for good when I found I just couldn't bring myself to write anymore Jack/Ianto - but Merlin adn Arthur have woken me up! I hope that some familiar names turn up in my Merlin fic comments |
