Thought it was about time I wrote something here. I'm Becky, I can still just about claim to be in my mid (ok, ok. ahem, late) twenties and I mostly write fanfic to entertain myself. I share in the hope that maybe it'll entertain others too. I live in the UK and I pipette stuff for a living, mostly in an R&D setting. I get loads of writing practice through the number of reports my managers demand but writing this stuff is much more fun. I'm sure at some point in my life I'm probably have to grow up and do adult things but I don't feel the need right now.

I started out writing Stargate SG-1 Fic on the yahoogroups nopeskyfish list (as a way of putting off writing up my PhD and getting a job) and some of my old stuff can be found on the Jackfic website under the imaginitive pen name of 'Becky'. Since I joined fanfiction.net I've branched out a bit and so far had a go at NCIS, House and BBC Merlin. I only write Gen fic and don't read slash, so except for some swearing and the occasional bit of violence, my fics should be suitable for pretty much anyone. I don't use a beta, so any and all mistakes are entirely mine. I'm happy to beta gen fic, so if you need a second opinion on your work, feel free to check out my beta profile. I only beta Gen stuff but am happy to have a go at shows not listed if I've actually seen them and am familiar with the characters.
