Author has written 36 stories for CSI, Babylon 5, West Wing, CSI: New York, Supernatural, X-Files, Blue Bloods, Good Omens, Grease, and Contact. The overflow valve of an insomniac writer caught up in the worlds created by "The X-Files", "CSI" and "The West Wing", among others. Dedicated to those who first taught me, and those who remind me, to observe, to listen, to think, and to write it all down, as well as I possibly can. Come find me on Ao3 or Tumblr if you want to chat. This site isn't the greatest for actual conversations, especially if you are commenting as a non-logged Guest! With especial thanks to my big sister Sara Sidle Grissom, who sent the Forensics Fairy to visit unto me one winter as I marathoned CSI up in the mountains. Thus began a journey that led me away from the career I thought I'd had fixed upon, back to school, and into a tough, demanding, emotionally wracking, indescribably fulfilling new path to Forensic Anthro & Archchaeology. And big tilt of the whisky jar to Cousin Dana over at the FBI for showing me how to handle myself in times of darkest need and to never, ever back down from the truth you know. Also? I have a bad habit of starting novels which get waylaid by ~Life Happening~ and other stuff. I know that's frustrating and irresponsible and I do apologize. If I had the wherewithal to spend my evenings and weekends just writing, I gladly would, but full-time school plus nearly full-time work equals very little else! My Fellow Scribes and Readers, A Challenge: Of course I'd love to know what speaks to you and what works for you, and positive feedback is mead and sunshine to any writer. HOWEVER - I want to know what doesn't work. - If something doesn't ring quite true, I want to know about it. Basically, for the love of fanfic, rip me, shred me, tear me to pieces, and if you have any advice when you're done, I'm all ears. CONVERSELY: If you ask me for a beta or a critical review, I'll give you one, as honestly and as clearly as I can. You tell me how rigorously you want me to approach your work. I do leave ordinary feedback on stories that catch my heart and mind, but I won't deal out a full-on critique unless it's asked for, for obvious reasons. I'm always up for a good e-mail confab about writing! Scribble on, maniacs. Fix |
