The Holy Grail War was initiated ten years too early by force, by the Third Reich during the height of World War II, with the goal of cheating the system and obtaining the Grail for themselves. However, an information leak allowed the Mage's Association, the Church and miscellaneous parties to act out and summon Servants before the Reich Masters, intending on stopping them.

Izuku Midoriya, abandoning the name after being saved by the villain All For One, aspires for a perfect society of Heroes vs Villains in eternal struggle. His childhood friend, Katsuki Bakugo, believes him to be dead, but soon, they would reunite, not as friends or rivals, but as archenemies, as is proper for a villain and hero rivalry to be called.

Lucy Heartfilia must endure the Seven Year Vacation, following an ill-thought out birthday gift from her guild, with the greatest struggle from this Vacation being her dwindling ways to make money to pay rent, but the opportunity made way to allow her to get closer to several women in her life, some whom she didn't realize the mutual feelings they share.
