Next: A little about me

Race/Ethnicity: I'm a mix of almost every ethnicity (I can say with reasonable confidence I'm not Hispanic or African in any amount that would actually be prudent (maybe like 0.00000000000000001%)) but I have more Asian and Caucasian blood than anything else. Specifically Korean (obviously) and Irish/British/Italian/European in general.

Gender/Sex: I'm Female, born female, feel female, She/her pronouns all that

Other Facts:

How long have I been writing: I've been writing fanfiction since I was 13 (Now I'm 19-turning-20 and have come to the realization that I'm old because 7 years writing fanfiction is a very long time) but I've been writing stories since I was about 6.

Other Hobbies besides writing: Is food a hobby? Seriously though, I like drawing and reading mostly, but I do also play the piano, the viola and the violin and pretty much always have music playing. But honestly, food.

First Ship: My first slash pairing ever was Palletshipping from Pokemon (Gary/Ash if you don't know) followed closely by SasuNaru (though it's no longer one of my top 5, it's still in my top 10) and before that the first non-slash thing I can remember shipping is PokeShipping (which is Ash/Misty from pokemon, which I no longer ship at all)

Rant/Explanation:

Since I already know I'm going to get shit for my portrayal of Sakura here you go;

My least favorite character in the history of every anime I've ever watched is Sakura from Naruto.

I'm sorry I just can't. She was badly written, abusive, and painfully weak even when she had the physical ability to actually beat her enemies. She hit her teammate more than she hit her enemies and always needed help and I remember so clearly, after Sakura got training from Tsunade and showing it during her and Naruto's second bell test and being happy because she'd finally be a decent character. But no, she showed absolutely 0 positive character development, beat her teammates for no reason, betrayed one of said teammate's trust by trying to use his feeling for her against him, and was still obsessed with Sasuke in the same unhealthy, fangirl way she always was.

The part about Sasuke especially bothers me because even after his and Naruto's final battle he was never around, this is also acknowledged multiple times in Boruto, and yet somehow they ended up married with a kid (who he never met until she was 12, like, what?)

The only time I can say that I've ever liked her was in some fanfiction when the authors fixed her and made her a character I could actually respect.

Anyway the point of that whole rant is that I hate Sakura almost as much as I hate Boruto (and I really hate Boruto, like, there's so little about it that I can stand, seriously)

So in my little bubble, Boruto doesn't exist, SasuSaku never became canon (Honestly, Naruto ended for me after his and Sasuke's final battle at the valley of the end, they both lost their arms, and Sasuke left again with his forehead protector--anything after that I pretty much tend to ignore, but even though I don't ship NaruHina the wedding arc was cute) and Kakashi never became Hokage, because why? I never understood that decision and if Gaara, who was a mass murderer before meeting Naruto, can become Kazekage at age before he was truly an adult I don't see why Naruto couldn't be Hokage. Especially since he was a key component is saving the entire shinobi world multiple times over.

On the topic of pairings I do want to say outright that even though I don't ship NaruHina romantically I do really like their friendship. I just think the development of their relationship was really bad (I know some people disagree but it's my opinion) and they're better off as friends. As kids her crush on him was cute but I feel like the majority of her feelings for him, at least until Shippuden, were purely hero-worship (possibly helped out by physical attraction). Despite my dislike for the pairing as a romantic relationship I do love Hinata as a character. Despite her shyness and insane crush and Naruto, once she finds herself, she proves to be really strong and reliable as well as kind--really out of all of the female characters, Sakura is the only one I dislike

Even Ino, who was just as bad as Sakura in part 1, developed more than she did. (Tenten, Tsunade and Temari, along with Anko, Yugao, and Hinata are my favorites though)

So, TLDR: I don't like her because she's shitty, but I'm willing to make her likeable in my world--even if I bash her significantly at first 99% of the time
