Hey folks, I've gotten a lot of reviews that want a sequel or epilogue for The Stand Still to go through the court scene. I'm not going to write one. The story has simply run its course, and I'm sorry that many of you feel that this does not wrap up the story, but I feel very differently. This story was not about the events that occurred, it was about Heero and Duo's relationship, and how they were growing towards each other. At the end, they are finally able to admit how much they feel for each other, and what they will do and risk to give those feelings a chance to flourish. To the claim that Duo was acting like a coward, you are completely right. But nothing he has done in this story has been courageous. I don't like to make my characters ideal people. All the interesting stuff is in the flaws. I am sorry that many of you didn't like this, but I also do not want to see the story decline in quality, which is most definitely will if I continue to write on it. I feel like it has run its course, and hopefully by writing this many of you can understand what I was trying to accomplish.
