I'm more or less of an adventurer, at times home with my family, at other times on the road in all sort of interesting places with questionable Internet access. Due to my lifestyle I can't always interact much, but am grateful for anyone reading my stuff. I am what TV Tropes would call a Warrior Poet.

This is a story of Sarevok of Baldur's Gate fame. When I played the Throne of Bhaal expansion I started to dream about him, and he took a very real presence in me. As I started to chronicle his tale, the other characters took a life of their own and I often felt like I was just a bystander scribe watching something beyond my own imagination unfold. The story contains a fair amount of original characters, especially part three where there is very little canon to rely on.

Part I: Makings of a Monster. The story of Sarevok's first life all the way to the bitter end. Naturally it is a dark one, but not completely without chuckles.

Part II: Interlude. Sarevok and a few others adventure in the afterlife of the many planes. He is determined to live again, no matter what, just as he once was determined to survive, no matter what.

Part III: Road of Redemption. This is a story about what happened to Sarevok during, and above all after, the drama of Bhaal's Throne unfolding. Now he has to find out what kind of man he is without the taint of Bhaal burning in his veins. His journey takes him to faraway Kara-Tur where everything is magnificently different and great forces are on move.

(The story has been published at the Attic in the early 2000's. I used the pen name "Lord E" then).
