Hi I'm Manta Ray Manuscript.

I love dogs, walks, sim games and writing. I decided to finally write down the stories that I come up with when I'm on my walks. Like many star wars fans I like the star wars universe but find the movies, books and tv shows to be pretty dark. Seriously even their kid shows are dark. I'm also not a fan of the new trilogy, its just too repetitive of the original. I think it would have been better to use the legends version, where they take on enemies who are immune to the force.

My stories admittedly have a lot of time travel involved but thanks to Avengers I no longer feel embarrassed about it. So I came up with a lot of time traveling story that are about saving the Jedi and the republic from themselves by showing off the Jedi who came later, who learn from their mistakes. the largest and the only one that I really know how it will end is the New vs. Old order. I plan to finish it before moving onto the next story.

My biggest weakness is that I can't edit my own work. I'm actually really good at editing, but its like surgery, I can't do it to myself. But rest assured readers I am looking for Betas, probably an army of them, to help me. If I can't then I will use my editor who works on my books, but I'm hoping to find someone who knows the rules regarding fan fictions.

While I am determine to only write one story at a time and to finish it completely, and while I still have to finish and edit my current story, I have begone to think about my next one. I have three star wars ones that I can write up and one that still has some work to go. I thought it would be fun if I wrote some summaries here and see what you guys think of them.

Force Walkabout

Takes place during the phantom menace but there are some future characters who were just born earlier so they can be part of the story. Its not time travel. Its the story of Ben Skywalker son of Luke Skywalker (no relation to 10 year old Anakin) and Mara Skywalker. Luke is a retire jedi living on Yavin four with his former sith wife (who faked her death to hide). Ben goes on a force walkabout, where the force guides him on an adventure of self-discovery. this walkabout lands him on Tatooine where Obi-Wan is waiting for his master to return with the part they needed. Since Ben is named after his father's old master a Ben Kenobi and his father always insisted that for a Skywalker to be great they need a Kenobi, Ben is convince that shadowing Obi-Wan will lead him to his destiny.

It's sort of a fun character who attaches himself to the serious character. During the phantom menace Obi-Wan is feeling unloved by his master who seems to be planning on getting rid of him, so I gave him Ben to cheer him up. But unknown to the Jedi Ben's parents have form a collation of dark, light and grey force user. They are ignoring the coming Clone war, just seeing it as another Sith and Jedi battle, and are focus on a stronger threat. The Vong, who are beginning to appear on the far reaches of the galaxy and destroying all life in an attempt to eradicate the force. Eventually Obi-Wan and Ben are going to be pulled into the parents battle.

This is also the story were I came up with Alina's people. I needed someone to be the opposite of the Dathomir who join the alliance. I even base her people on the Dathomir such as covering their faces. I only change clothes and color, giving Alina a elven complexion and the bright colorful wardrobe.

Original New vs Old Order

My original version of the new vs old order, it only star Luke Leia with Ezra as backup. I ended up not using it because it was too dark and I kind of wanted to add in all the other characters. In this version Palpatine isn't satisfied with ruling the empire base on the republic. He decides to destroy all inhabitant planets and repopulate the galaxy with only his loyal minions. In this version what remains of the rebels and Jedi are hiding out in the world between worlds but even that place is dying. Luke, Leia and Ezra, the only young Jedi decide to travel back in time to stop it. The three end up in the past but they see both the separatist and the republic as parts of the Sith empire.

Thats the biggest difference between this version and the other. The three do exactly what rebels do to the empire only they attack both sides and become public enemies. Instead of the elaborate plan to win over hearts and minds, this version's plan is to just make it so neither side can fight. Forcing them into peace. This story is more circle around Obi-Wan and the Skywalker family as Anakin tries to figure out why he likes these rebels so much. At the end I felt like I was missing out on playing with a large group of crazy characters and that this was a little dark.

A lothal wolf, lothal cat and owl walk into a bar

This is a short (well...for me) and simple story without all the legend characters and locations being pulled up. It takes place in the Clone Wars and Rebels tv shows. In this version when Ahsoka and Ezra are fighting against Palpatine in the world between worlds, they fall through a passageway that leads to Coursant during the clone wars era. The two get separate and Ezra is taken by the Jedi due to suffering a wound where Palpatine had grabbed him. The Jedi treat him but want to know how he came to be hurt by a Sith. Ahoska is trying to get to Ezra without being spotted. She is under a tight clock to get him and get back to Lothal before Ezra tells them or worse, she breaks down and tells Anakin everything. Luckily she is getting help by not just her owl but a lothal wolf and cat.

This is a little bit funner and simpler then all my other stories, where Ahsoka is running around, Ezra is giving sarcastic response and animals acting like people.

Those are the stories I could write next. I do have another story but its no where near ready for use. Unlike all the other stories its not action, its a drama and I'm having a hard time figuring out the characters personalities. Still here is a summary.

No title

When Qui-Gon's lover Tahl finds out she's pregnant, she doesn't confide in Qui-Gon believing that his free spirit personality will only drive him away from such news. instead she goes to his retire former master Dooku. Like many former Jedi, Dooku is use to current Jedi depositing their babies at the door where he would turn them over to the Jedi temple as orphans. that way the parents can still be near their children without leaving the order. But when Tahl leaves her newborn, Obi-Wan, Dooku knows who the father is and decides to keep him. Unknown to Tahl and the Jedi, he had been a Sith in hiding and he sees Obi-Wan as a second chance to raise Qui-Gon properly and as a Sith.

When Dooku fails to return the child, Tahl realize who he is and that she would never be able to get her child back or warn the Jedi without admitting that she broke the code. She decides to go on more dangerous missions solo until she is finally killed in battle, leaving Dooku as the only one who knows Obi-Wan's origins.

Obi-Wan though doesn't want to be a Sith. He is too full of light so he runs away and his path leads him to his birth father although neither of them are aware of it at the time. Still Dooku is out there and he wants both his grandson and son to come home even if he has to make them.

I enjoy coming up with the story and I even have an idea of how it will end, but figuring out the characters is a little difficult. I mean Obi-Wan loves Dooku, he is his grandfather who has raise him, but he is still a Sith and Obi-Wan doesn't like Sith. Dooku is a Sith but he truly cares for Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon, and Qui-Gon finds out he has a twenty year old son (story takes place during phantom menace). It's difficult to figure out how each character feels and how they will interact. I want to do it because it will be fun to try some drama but there is just so much drama.
