YO I last updated this profile in 2008 wow Okay, so my fanfiction is pretty bad I wouldn't read it if I were you Like not just because I was only 14 when I wrote it so it's incredibly cliche and formulaic (no offence if you're 14 but when I personally was 14 I was pretty immature) But because I had internalised some pretty shitty ideas (mainly from other fanfiction let's be honest) Some of my fics are pretty awful and misogynistic, which I didn't realise at the time I had this idea that the main opponent to boy/boy relationships were women, which is bullshit, but an incredibly common theme in slash fanfiction We need to stop doing this now okay So if any of my fics have the phrase "X-bashing" in their description that means that I treated a female character badly purely because she was in a canon relationship with one of the members of my OTP Which wasn't okay at the time and it isn't okay now Some may also contain themes of rape and abuse which could be triggering There may also be other potential triggers which I've forgotten about but if I discover them, I will post here Also they're really really long How did I even find the time to write these things But if you want to see the best (worst?) bits from my fanfiction, I post daily snippets at bat-twink dot tumblr dot com I basically only keep my profile active so I can sift through and find hilarious things I wrote when I was younger | |||||||
