Chapter 1

It was Friday and Miley had been thinking about Jake all day. She just couldn't stop thinking about him!!!!!! It was so hard to put him out of her mind. When would he get back? Was he still shooting the movie?

Miley walked up to her room. It had already been 4 months since Jake had gone on the trip to Romania for the movie. He was supposed to be back by now; she had hoped he would be back by now. Since Jake only had his cell with him, there was no other way to reach him. Her cell phone wasn't able to call all the way to Romania, and she wanted to talk to him so badly. She wanted to know when he was coming back; she just needed to know. She just wished there was some way to contact him!!!!!! She couldn't write him a letter, she couldn't call him, but she might be able to e-mail him; she hadn't tried that yet. Maybe, just maybe, that would work. She sat down at her computer and signed on. She slowly typed in his e-mail address. She typed in her message: "Hey, Jake! I've wished you sooooooo much!!!!! I haven't been able to call you or write you a letter or anything!!!!!! Where are you??? When do you think you will be getting back??? E-MAIL ME BACK!!!!!!!! Luv, Miley!!!!!!!" She wondered if he was already on his way back or how long he would be gone.Could it be that he might come tomorrow? Or maybe the next day? Or the next?

Oh, well! No sense sitting around wondering about it all day! So she decided to call Lily. She quickly dialed the number on the phone and waited for Lily to pick up.

"Hey, Miley," Lily said as she picked up the phone.

"Guess what?" Miley asked, excitedly.

"Huh?" Lily replied.

"I found out a way to talk to Jake! I realized that I can just e-mail him! I hadn't thought about that before, but his e-mail still works, even in Romania!!!" exclaimed Miley.

"Really? That's so cool! have you gotten a reply yet?" questioned Lily, eagerly.

"No, I haven't, but I'm hoping I'll get one soon," answered Miley, equally as excited.

"Okay, well, I'll see you at school on Monday! I can't believe that the last day of school is in 5 DAYS!!!!!!!!" Lily practically screamed.

"Yeah! I know! The year just flew bye!" Miley remarked. "Anyway, see ya!!!!!!!!"

"Bye!" Lily and Miley hung up the phone simutaneously.

Miley ran down the stairs and out the door of her house. She was still wondering about Jake and when he would be back. She just needed to go for a walk, so she went to the beach. As she walked along the shore, she saw a huge group of people crowding around Rico's Snack Shop. Naturally curious, she jogged up to Rico's to see what the fuss was about. And (OH. MY. GOD.) there stood Jake Ryan signing autographs and talking to reporters!!!!!!!!!

Miley pushed through the crowd with only one thing in her brain: JAKE IS BACK!!!!!!!! As soon as he saw her he smiled and she rushed into his arms. He kissed her softly on the lips. Photographers quickly snapped photos. Crazed fans screamed and cheered and some even burst into tears. Miley found a big, fat tear rolling down her own smiling face.

"Hey, could we get some privacy here?" Jake politely asked the crowd. Slowly the crowd dispersed and they were totally alone.

"Hi! I missed you so much! I tried calling you and writing you a letter, but I didn't have an address and finally I realized that I could e-mail you. Unfortunately I realized that this morning," Miley gushed.

"Yeah...the movie took a lot longer than I thought. Well actually, a lot longer than I hoped," Jake said as he stared deep into Miley's eyes. He gave a big, satisfied sigh and smiled.

This is so perfect! Now Jake and I can FINALLY be together, Miley thought, smiling her biggest smile.

"So...do you remember the day you left for Romania, you asked if I wanted to go out with you '4 months from this Saturday' and then I pushed you off the cliff? Well, first of all, I'm really, really, REALLY sorry about that! I guess I was just angry or maybe disappointed. And second, do you still want to go on that date? Because '4 months from this Saturday' is tomorrow," Miley told Jake, wishing with all her heart that he would say yes.

"Of course! So tomorrow...when and where?" Jake asked.

"Umm, I dont know! How about we meet here at 1:00 and we'll decide then," suggested Miley.

"Perfect," Jake said as he leaned in for another kiss, but this time more passionate because no one else was around.
