Before I introduce myself, I would like to let you know about a magazine I am starting. If I have contacted you already because of your unbelievable talent, you will probably already know most of the information below. If you are interested in being published in a barely forming magazine, read everything in bold:

Neurotic Conflict is a literary magazine with edge. We want to publish short stories, non-fiction accounts, poems, drawings, paintings, comics, angry rants, and basically anything that has a voice and a message. Read this:

Hi everybody! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer.

Anyway, I do have a request. A couple of friends and I are starting a magazine. It will feature aspiring artists of all kinds: we need short stories, non-fiction accounts, poems, drawings, paintings ( a picture of it, of course), photographs, angry rants, even reviews of underground bands if you got them. This magazine is meant for the younger crowd ( young adults) and is centered around a more macabre theme. Our main theme for the first issue will be "Lament of a Tortured Genius," so try to center around the bleakness of reality with a touch upon insanity.

I have already invited a couple of talented friends, but we do need more to complete the first issue. If you are an visual artists, then you have a chance to win the grand prize ( your drawing would be the cover of our magazine).

We plan on circulating around 300 issues ( we need to raise more money to do this- but, oh well), so your art would be well exposed. Once our website is up, you would have your own personal page and portfolio ( if you get published with us).

If anybody is interested, let me know and I will send you the submission guidelines and personally guide you through the process. Again, after our website is up, the process will be much easier. We will have to see your work to let you know if we will publish you- though chances are that you will be published.

We can't afford to pay any of you, but you will be given a copy of the issue once it is printed. Also, once profits start to be made, all proceeds will be given to a charity ( once we start making some money, we will pick a charity that is in real need). Also, you can use us as a source if you later want to publish your artwork or writing.

Now about me.

My real name is Priscilla. I'm seventeen, half Mexican and half Nicaraguense.

I'm an Aquarius ( if that means anything at all) and sort of a laid back person. I am a real stay at home person, which is why I make friends that force me to leave my comfortable domicile. I love writing more than anything, and drawing almost as much. In the past years, my writing has improved considerably ( so please don't judge me on my past work- most of you know writing improves rapidly through practice). I draw almost as well, and I have an account on deviantart: http:/// should you want to review me, or submit a piece to the magazine or just drop a comment. Anything works. I love reading, watching movies, talking on the phone, roaming the mall, and listening to people. My biggest interests are philosophy and psychology ( to understand myself and those around me- egotistical, aren't I?) .

GOALS: I want to eventually be accepted into UCLA and get my undergrad there. Then I want to go to medical school and become a plastic surgeon. It will be a lot of hard work, but in the end I'm sure it will be worth it. Before I graduate high school, I WILL finish my novel. I hope all of you get to read it one day. I also plan on publishing a few issues of the magazine before second semester. I really do like writing, and I want it to be a part of my life. If I can help aspiring writers and artists realize their dreams of seeing their works in published form, then why not? I want to publish some short stories ( not in my own magazine- that would be unfair to the rest of you). I also want to learn a third language, and get really good at the guitar.

I am currently married to Edward Cullen. We are very happy together, thank you for asking. He killed Bella a few months ago, so it's all good. :)

Misc- I'm extreamly random. Cardboard bats hang over my bed. I speak to one of my characters in my head. The song,' We all live on a yellow Submirine' really bugs me. I love Johnny Depp. I no longer consider myself a vampire, but a future immortal. I am a friend of the library ( I'm just not in the club. Picky, narrowminded, self- important, club committee..shakes fist). I'm wearing striped socks this very second! I heart penguins. For some reason, my wrists are extra sensitive. I hate museums but love reading history ( except American history- sooo boooorinngg...). I crumble my chips before eating them ( lasts longer- yes, I'm one of those people). Everytime I get the flu or some sort of pain, I assume I'm getting cancer and freak out. My mother is a doctor and tells me I'm acting crazy again. I love figurines. I like collecting inspiring and motivational quotes. I google everything that comes across my mind- I may be an internet addict. I like it when it is cloudy and not sunny. I am taking a film class and have been director all year. I youtube everything. I make up stories in my head to go along with any songs I hear ( apparently this is not normal- some people have told me this is strange..?) . I love mongolian food, Taiwanese food and strawberry nestea. I sometimes believe I am really insane and nobody is telling me. I tend to zone out- not like a black out, but just a lack of alertness. It is alot like watching a movie. I feel like my life is a play and I am the only one in the broken down theatre watching. Apparently there is a word for this: depersonalization ( though this is an exaggeration- this word describes a medical condition, and I assure you I am fine... I hope... Well, the doctor sure hasn't said anything! J/K). I wake up everyday at seven a.m., even on weekends and on vacation. I feel that I don't want to waste one hour of the day, so I start it early. I can't use long forks- only short ones ( I'm weird, okay?). I used to be more random, but apparently that is no longer socially acceptable. I wear a fox-tail that I bought at the Renaissance Fair around the house. IT'S FLUFFY- I like it. I will buy the ears next year.

What is usually going on in my head? A bizarre tea party even the mad hatter would fear...

Who I think should rule the world? Invader Ziiiiim!!
