05/05/15 - Finished Panchira. Finally. Cooking up future fic ideas in my head, but no promises.

Chibi Nick is 90% all Asian stereotypes and 10% pure eccentricity. She would not be surprised if people could write her entire life story just by tracking her internet life. Tea, white rice, and greasy foods are her fuel, which keep her aura a nice healthy neon pink, blindingly so. And she is blessed with a forever young spirit coupled with grammar OCD.

Oh. And a slash fangirl. But you already knew that. :3

She is slightly disturbed by the fact that she ships just about every incest pairing in Axis Powers Hetalia. Apparenly, incest is wincest. (And yes, she ships the actual Wincest as well.)

For some wild reason, she is attracted to rivalry pairings or love/hate pairings in fandoms, or blondes in general. Lately however, there is very strong suspicion that she is a closeted shotacon...

As much as she wishes it was so, her life doesn't consist solely of the internet, fanfiction, and gaming. Her busy work life tends to drain her energy, and she slaves away at her engineering job. All in the hopes of one day attaining that coveted six figure salary.

Her lifelong dream is to have a tea party with the Queen of Hearts. And own a Transformer.

Why Chibi Nick Writes:

1.) She is attacked by plot bunnies in the middle of the night and held hostage until she puts something in print.
2.) Her mind is too crammed with plot lines that it will combust if it was all locked inside her head.
3.) She loves to spread the wealth.
4.) She secretly hopes her writing will inspire the more shy authors to take a chance and write. But only secretly.
5.) She feels as if she owes something back to fanfiction.net after reading numerous amazing and fantastic and yaoi-licious fics written by other extremely talented authors.
6.) It's good practice.
7.) It keeps her sane.

Why Chibi Nick Never Mentions Reviews:

1.) It's not her place to ask for reviews when it is the readers that take the time out of their lives to read.
2.) If readers feel that she deserves a review, they will review. Simple as that.
3.) She is quite a lurker herself, and would be hypocritical of her to beg for reviews.
4.) She understands that sometimes, readers are just plain lazy. Even if they like the story.
5.) She firmly believes that fanfiction.net is reserved for stories. Why clutter readers' screen with useless begging?
6.) Yes, it is annoying after a while.
7.) She feels it is extremely low of a fellow author to threaten discontinuing a story if he or she doesn't receive enough review. Authors earn reviews.
8.) A story is the first priority. If the first priority is met, the reviews are guaranteed to follow.
9.) The author appears desperate when begging for reviews. Generally, desperation is not a good impression.
10.) She accepts the fact that some readers just won't like her stories, and it will only drive them further away if she begs for reviews.
