Author has written 56 stories for X-Files. I began writing Fanfic back in 1997 when I needed a word processor to write and then upload from a 3" floppy via dial up to the one computer in the house. A young teen, I was fascinated with the idea of being able to share my imagination and my love for the X-Files with other like minded people. I especially enjoyed Mulder!Whump, though back then we called it MulderTorture. Years passed, my writing improved, technology improved, and I dare say I became well known in the X-Files fanfic circles. Then Season 7 came and I began to lose interest. Then Season 8 hit and I didn't watch a single episode or movie since. Other X-Files authors must have felt the same way because the fanfic dried up, the websites became defunct. I eventually found Fanfiction.net and was absolutely thrilled. I could read about all my favorite shows - SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Star Trek, Supernatural, Daredevil. Even movies, though the quality of fic was less for some reason. Oddly I never went near the X-Files section. I've spent years reading other peoples works, continuously impressed at the care, detail and love that goes into the stories that people have written. Finally I decided to get my feet wet again. I haven't published any fanfic in over 10 years, though I have a bunch of half written things saved on my computer. I intend on publishing all my old works, since I can't even access my old homemade website, it's that old, and hoping I can entertain some people along the way as I build up to finally posting something new. All my stuff will be X-Files until I get back into the swing of things, then I want to branch out. As you read through my stories please be patient with what may seem repetitive plots or tropes well past their prime - remember these are... cough... up to twenty years old and there weren't nearly as many similar stories to compare to back then. As a side note, I NEVER post works in progress, I only post completed stories. One author ruined WIP for me by writing an absolutely amazing and enthralling story and then just leaving it half finished. I refuse to do that, so never fear. Also, I will NEVER write Slash unless it is canon. I have absolutely no problem with non-heterosexual relationships but I do have a problem with glaringly non-canon relationships. I.E. Captain Kirk was a well known womanizer, he would never go for Spock, no matter how sexy those eyebrows are. |
