A king, a queen, a longstanding betrothal, and an upcoming wedding: what could go wrong? Plenty. There's a dragon standing in the way of a happy ending. (Spoiler Alert: This is a crossover fic based on Sleeping Beauty and my favorite boobies from Downton Abbey, so the chances there won't be a happy ending are...you'll see.) Dedicated to the lovely Hogwarts Duo.

In this fanfiction we get to follow the lives of Charles and Elsie and their two daughters, Elisabeth and Charlotte. Tragedies, happiness, romance, friendship and endless moments between the couple!

This time, I will write a one-shot story, about the scene that drew my attention in episode 7, of season 1. After Charles's return from the London season. We see him and Elsie, when they talk to Lord and Lady Grantham, they both have that cute smug on their faces...So I figured, that something really interesting must have happened that caused that smug...Here is my idea for that...

I want to explore the past of my favorite trio: Elsie/Charles/Beryl. I will devote one chapter to the childhood of each of them and then I will write how their roads crossed at Downton and how they became friends for life. As I said, it's not like it was in the series, just my idea of that. I hope you will like this.

First of all : thank you very much for your nice reviews. This is the first time I start a continuing story. Please be patient with me - hope you'll enjoy. Charles Carson has an unexpected visitor at the cottage and Elsie is busy at the Abbey. While he is remembering old times Elsie has to deal with new feelings that come up. Can a ghost of the past haunt their marriage ?

What happens when suddenly Elsie and Charles are forced to stay in insolation for two weeks? What will they learn about life, marriage and each other? And will they both come out alive!

Recently my brain is set on developing particular Chelsie scenes from the series, so this time I thought that I will let us through our favorite scene-the first kiss.

I think we all remember well episode 8, of season 2, when Spanish Flu strikes at Downton. We saw just a bits of Carson's illness, because the storyline was focused on Cora and Lavinia. So let's take a look inside the curtain and see how it really went, behind closed doors. How he survived the illness with Elsie's love and support.
