I have sympathies for the Cullens over the matter of children. And because of that, I figured that Rosalie deserved a way to cure her bitterness. TWILIGHT THE MOVIE

Well, I know most people have seen the movie. So I plan on giving a mini review since I have the space and time haha.

Okay, let's face it people: the movie was great. Sure, it lacked in some elements that Twilighters required (Alice in the asylum and perhaps some more Edward/Bella relationship building moments) but overall, it carried the essence of Twilight, which was enough for me.

Ehh critics suck. Let's just get that point across. They did not go into the movie knowing that it is NOT a violence/gorefest that stereotypes of the vampire world have come up with over the centuries. Too many movies have that mandatory law that all vampires must be evil, homicidal fiends that wreak havoc on the unsuspecting townsfolk. And geez, the critics do not get that it was a LOW-BUDGET film! There's only so much you can do! Plus with this crappy economy, I'm suprised that it turned out as good as it did! I guess my whole point with the bashing critics is this: Ladies and Gentlemen of the critiquing world, hear me! GET OVER YOUR PATHETIC STEREOTYPES AND TASTE THE FRESH AIR OF ORIGINALITY INSTEAD OF YOUR FOREVER REMAKES!

As for my personal nit-picks...Well, the cast overall was splendid. I enjoyed every single one of them. I suppose my only real disappointment was with Robert Pattinson's behavior during the Biology scene...he looked more like he was going to gag rather than be enticed by Bella's scent. It was not a major flaw, but just a little nit-pick of mine. I wanted to hug dearest Jasper many times, simply out of sympathy and love of the character overall. My only concern I think with the whole movie was this: the meadow scene with Edward sparkling. Was it just me who expected his face to look like LITERAL diamond with his facial features chiseled in? Like a diamond statue? I don't know, he looked good but not awe-striking. Perhaps with a better budget with New Moon they can correct this minor error. Bring on the CGI!

And kudos to...well, let's name off everything, shall we? I loved the narration of Kristen Stewart, props to you! And Edward was downright gorgeous the whole time, just as I had dreamed him to be. The Cullen family overall was amazing, with Emmett's naturally goofy behavior shown and Rosalie's rotten attitude (loved it!). I wanted to hug Carlisle and Esme, they were adorable! Ahh Alice! She was cute and spunky just as I hoped! Jasper was literally swept out of the book, he was exactly as I hoped for (maybe a little bit more haha). Charlie Swan and Billy Black...they were amazing and perfectly in character. Ahh Jacob Black...I think I declare myself a Taylor Lautner fan after this, he was the perfect Jacob that I admit, I doubted when I first saw the cast list. I want him to return for New Moon! And well, the baddies...Love 'em! Victoria gave me chills and yet seemed so powerful I was almost like 'ooo you go girl!'. James...sexy. Laurent...chills, man! He made my friend scream at one point! And how could I forget the humans? All of them were great, perfect cast! As for the scenery...eep I want family vacation in Oregon or Washington State now!

Gotta say...it was great. I reccomend it to anyone. Just don't go into it with high expectations. And well, let yourself forget about the stereotypes and focus on the love story. We all know that is what Twilight is really about!
