I'm a millennial who love HP, SPN and ASoIaF/GoT. My favorite characters are Hermione Granger, Dean Winchester, Rhaegar Targaryen (surprise, surprise) so there's a big possibility I would read fics based on those characters whether it strictly in the fandom or even crossover.

For HP, I mainly ship Harmony and Hermes, but I didn't mind any other ship other than cannon because cannon are so... Mehhh. I don't like Ron Weasley, and no matter how much people out there argued that he's a good character, I can't just seem to see it. To me, Ron is Hermione's biggest bully, even more than the Slytherins, and I don't think Hermione is a masochist so I don't understand why she would want to start an abusive relationship with him (yes, even verbal abuse is still abuse) and stay with such a toxic relationship. Hair pulling when you're in kindergarten is common, but degrading you for almost seven years (and more to come) is not. As for Ginny, well, I just can't seem to forget her 'squeaking phase', then suddenly she's this 'super Ginny' in sixth book? As for Molly, too much potential for machinations. I don't believe in 'too nice too fast' person (constant vigilance, people, I'm a proud Moody's pupil), and the love potion issue just made it worse.

For SPN, who doesn't love Dean, really? He's badass. Enough explanation.

For ASoIaF/GoT, well, Rhaegar is a bit 3D. We didn't really know his motive, what's really on his mind, and he basically a central character whom without appearing much, is important enough to touched every single life on ASoIaf/GoT world. Mad villain or lovesick fool? who really knows? That's why I think his character is so interesting. The most hated character to me would be Lyanna. She's foolish, naive young girl who is basically Sansa in the case of Arya, so I think her head is filled with song, knight, prince and all of that,so despite the 'case', she's nothing like Arya.
