Hello, I am a 20 year old "adult" who is currently enrolled in college.

In fact, I have dissapeared for quite some time as I had forgotten my passion for writing and I am back.

To the dismayal of my Tales of Angels fans, no, I will not be continuing the series any time soon. Its been too long and I had long lost the outline I had set up for it since I deviated so much from it to add all the crossovers I did.

As for my new fanfics as well as my older random humor oriented fanfics, I realize my strength is in short stories so I will do just that. So I will be posting One-shots as well as small stories in hope of fueling the flames that burn inside of me, keeping me able to feel the passion of words I breathe life into on paper... Ok I was being a little cheesy, deal with it! :P

I will be going by the same username though I have grown accustomed to my name on Runescape so I will sign off each chapter with "Slade Uchiha" instead. Before anyone asks, I have long since quit Runescape as it is too time consuming plus it's kinda boring now :( If I get to know anyone on a personal basis, please call me either Derek or Slade. I don't really care as I respond to both fondly.

I have decided to make a few top ten lists on my profile since I'm epically awesome like that ^_^ I will be as possibly unbiased as possible unless it is my top ten favorites list.

Top Ten Video Game Protagonists

#10: Sonic the Hedgehog While the series have definately taken a horrible turn for the worst, the legendary speed demon that took many by storm in his side scrollers will never be forgotten.

#9: Samus Aran (Metroid)The greatest bounty hunter of all time without a doubt. Samus is not only a Nintendo classic but also a great icon for FPS games that Nintendo is severely lacking in. (Though I have to say, Metroid Other M failed epically)

#8: Dante Sparda (Devil May Cry)Whether it's his careless attitude, his bad-ass persona, or how he disposes of the countless demons he's shredding, Dante is a character that is impossible to forget.

#7: Zack Fair (Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core) A true hero in every regard, he fought tooth and nail for a company that turned on him, and passed his legacy on through Cloud Strife. The story of Zack in FF VII CC is one of the greatest of all time.

#6: Kratos (God of War) The greatest warrior of all time, one who defied the gods and set out to destroy all of them. Kratos is by far the most powerful and amazing hack and slash protagonist.

#5: Master Chief (Halo) The Chief faced an army of aliens alone and continuously rises above every challenge. The tale of the greatest Spartan and the Halo Rings has been seen by many.

#4: Sora (Kingdom Hearts) This almost perfect replica of a true hero never bowed to the darkness and always fought for his friends. This key-slinging hero travels throughout the famous stories many of us grew up reading as children and overcame the darkness at every turn.

#3: Lloyd Irving (Tales of Symphonia) The utter definition of protagonist. In a declining world where he understood nothing, Lloyd traveled the worlds to find ways to save everyone without sacrifices, and he tirelessly worked to achieve peace between two worlds.

#2: Link (The Legend of Zelda) Whether it's puzzle solving or killing beasts that stand stories tall, Link is a true hero whose courage helped overcome the dark creatures that lurked in Hyrule countless times. Plus he's gotta be hella buff, carrying around all that gear...

#1: Mario (Mario Bros.) This Italian plumber has become the icon for all video games, leaving almost noone who doesn't know his name. While overcoming Koopas and Goombas in a side scrolling jump-a-thon or sailing the galaxies looking for stars, Mario has always been the greatest and possible the most fun protagonist to play as.

Honorable Mentions: Solid Snake, Spyro the Dragon, Yoshi, Ryu (Street Fighter), Cloud Strife, and Yuri Lowell.

I believe my grammar has improved significantly but it is still far from perfect, anyone who is willing to help with the issue would be greatly appreciated and I in turn would be willing to do the same.
