Author's excuses, a.k.a. WHAT on Earth were I THINKING?

Mission: To save beast warriors. - Lame title aside, it's just one more re-write of the show with extra-characters shoved in. Why?

Well, once upon a time I had no idea such thing as fanfiction existed - up until the point when I started looking for BW subtitles (didn't found any, made my own in the end) and stumbled on some of them. They were of three kinds: 1 - Quotes from the show with smart-ass comments added. 2 - a-girl-turned-robot romancing with robots, 3 - a-girl-somehow-on-prehistoric-earth romancing or friending or annoying robots.

So yes, I actually thought that a long semi-serious semi-AU, with a robot-always-been-a-robot OC really WAS a good and original idea. (And then I found whole pages dedicated to TF fiction, and then a friend pointed me to ff net. Yes, I felt really silly. But hey, at least I'm not alone, right?) Just for your information: I ran both OCs through Mary-Sue test. Kittar came out with negative number (which is good), and Rust is a borderline Gary. But I think he gets his aft kicked often enough to compensate for his Sueish mentality and history.

Spiders in love - it was written for a romance challenge; I was on a 'Tarantulas is an awesome creep' trip, I wanted to write het for a change, and I don't much like Blackarachnia. OC femme happened. (And it won the challenge, so nyah ;P ).

BTW: On the off chance anyone's wondering where the nickname came from:
Once upon a time I played Fallout. A game that is set in a post-nuclear war world. The starting point is vault no 13. Everything outside the vault is either toxic, mutated, or synthetic. Toxia and Mutia just didn't cut it. And so, the name Syntia13 was born. There is no 'h' in that name, because there's no such thing as silent h in my language. Thank you for attention.
