Author has written 3 stories for Spirited Away, Jennifer's Body, and Dollanganger Saga. " For all sad words on tongue or pen, the saddest are these: 'It might have been.' " ~ John Greenleaf Whittier “There is nothing in the world so wonderful as to love and be loved there is nothing so devastating as love lost.” ~ Unknown Okay, so, I decided this thing needed to be revamped. You hear most people these days wandering around in a state of depression that has the funny way of making people around them slip into that same state, all because someone broke up with someone else, or because they broke a nail or any number of fucked up reasons that actually don’t make sense. Well, I’m here to tell you that life does indeed go on, and it’s not as bad as it seems. High school is only a period of four years out of your life, you’ll love, you’ll lose, and you’ll have a dramatic time that makes it seem like the world is ending. News flash: It’s not. You’ll grow up, you’ll grow apart, and you’ll move on, realizing later in life that the cliques, the hard times, the good times, and the people you knew once-upon-a-time just helped to make you who you are today. My name is Kae, and I’ve come to realize several things in my short seventeen years; nothing is as it seems, happiness isn’t the goal; it’s the journey, the bad times don’t last forever, and love is something none of us will ever understand. You’ll forget the people that were once your world, your every breath, and you’ll make new friends that, in the end, will mean more than the ones you had before, it’s all part of the evolutionary cycle. FIFO is more than just a cooking term. I’ve lost friends this past year, and I’ve gained new ones, I’ve lost family members, and I’ve gained new ones, in with the new, out with the old, it’s just something that happens. You’ll learn later on that sometimes, things happen for a reason and it’ll never really make sense, that it doesn’t have to make sense. Part of life is learning to live, learning to forgive and forget, because if you don’t, you’ll spend your whole life looking back on the things that didn’t work out, instead of seeing what’s right in front of your eyes. So next time that you look around and see something that didn’t work, don’t dwell on it, look for the things that idid/i work, and make those your priority. About Me: I'm seventeen. If that doesn't tell you much, then I don't know what will; I've loved, and lost, I've hurt, and been hurt; I'm your everyday, average girl. Like most teenagers, I find songs to relate to my problems, I use quotes to show how I feel, and I redo my nails every other day. I dye my hair, I wear makeup, I'm a goof and a spazz, but most importantly, I am me. I don't let people tell me who to be, I don't let them walk all over me, and though it may seem selfish and horrible, my first priority is myself. I adore horror movies and books, I absolutely love to cook, and I breathe books and writing utensils. I'm an avid role player, a smoker, a friend and a sister. There's not much else to me, if there's something you wanna know, feel free to drop me a pm or a comment, I love to chit chat, and making new friends is always a plus. |
