Author has written 5 stories for Stargate: SG-1, and Supernatural. 10/8/2013 I've started writing fan fiction again, this time for Supernatural. I'll be posting some stories soon. 1/8/2009 So much for my good intentions. Last year was very unproductive for me as far as writing fiction. I've started writing again, but I'm now working on original fiction, so I doubt I will ever finish my fan fiction WIPs. Sorry. But I did finish one fan fiction novel and one short story. 1/30/2008 Ok, I'm very bad. Instead of working on my other WIP, I started a new one. Actually, I took up an old one. This is the first fan fiction story I ever started. I went back and edited it and decided to finish it. Yes, and I will finish my other WIP too! I'm going to try to start writing in a different way, so that I hopefully get more done, and it involves working on two stories at once. 12/28/2007 For those of you who have been wondering, yes, I intend to finish Crowns and Magic Mirrors. It's just I got sidetracked by the holidays and the story I just posted. 10/3/2007 Okay, I've started posting a new story. I've decided to post it as a WIP, chapter by chapter, which I wasn't going to do again because I tend to take a long time between chapters and I know that's frustrating for readers. But I'm finding I need the feedback and the knowledge that readers are waiting for another chapter to keep me going. Plus I kept re-writing what I'd already written instead of writing the next chapter! I just re-wrote the whole beginning, and then decided to go back to what I had before! I need to post these chapters already! Many thanks to my beta, 7 League Boots. 6/25/2007 I was just thinking about how long Liberating Males is, and how it covers different kinds of material that might appeal to different readers, like ship, dark fic, and action/adventure. Jack is the most important character, but Sam and Daniel are very important, too. It occurs to me you could read a subset of the novel and still follow the main story. To concentrate on Sam and Sam/Jack ship, read Chapters 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 12, first part of 14, 16, 17, 23 To concentrate on Daniel, Daniel's love interest, Jack/Daniel conflict and bonding, and the unraveling of the Founders' Secret, read Chapters 1, 3, 7, 8, second part of 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23 5/25/2007 Updated all the chapters of Liberating Males to the latest versions, because I kept making revisions after posting. These are editorial changes only, however. The story is the same. 5/20/2007 Finally finished Liberating Males! Hi! 11/15/2006 Haven't posted a profile before, but I wanted to thank all my readers for their patience. It has now been almost a year since I posted the first two chapters of Liberating Males (on a Sam & Jack list), and it still isn't finished -- though it's getting close. Sorry I take so long between chapters, because I know that must be frustrating, but I write slowly and there always seem to be things getting in the way. Since Liberating Males is my first fan fiction, I didn't know it would be that way. Also didn't realize it would turn into quite the novel that it has! But posting in chapters has been good for me as a writer, because all your feedback has kept me going. I have always enjoyed science fiction, but never got into fan fiction -- or much of anything in terms of being "interactive" on the Internet -- before my obsession with Stargate SG-1. I didn't start watching Stargate until it was already in Season 8, so I had all those years of episodes to catch up on, which was great. I actually went out and bought all the DVDs, which I have never done before for any TV series. But the time came when I had watched them all, and that was when I discovered fan fiction. I have to thank Stargate -- and the online fans -- for getting me into writing fiction. I actually write professionally, but I am a technical writer (help systems and manuals). Other than a couple of creative writing classes in college, I'd never written fiction, though I always wanted to try it. Somehow never got around to it. Thanks to this story (uh, novel) I think I am getting a taste of what it would be like be a novelist -- hard but satisfying. Maybe one day... |
