Author has written 4 stories for Ghost and Mrs. Muir, StarTrek: The Original Series, Misc. Tv Shows, and Downton Abbey. I'm a teacher and writer in New York. Colonel Hogan has been in my life for more than thirty years, and along with Mrs. Muir's dashing ghost and the crew of the Enterprise, encouraged this girl to spend way too much time in front of the television. All, however, have served as inspiration to flex the writing muscle, not for profit here, but for pure fun. It is good to remember once in a while that writers write just because there is a story to tell. Writing fanfic is a lot like playing with action figures; the characters are already there for you--you just have to put 'em in situations and see where they take you. BTW, Hotcorner is only a baseball reference. Sorry to disappoint those hoping for very different types of stories. :) Sincere thanks to those who have so warmly received my writing. Your reviews and kind words mean a lot. And thank you to those of you who also share your creative works, you have given hours of reading pleasure and have done your part to keep these shows alive. I am pleased to announce my first published play, The Ransom of Miss Elverna Dower, by Pioneer Drama Services; winner of the 2009 Shubert Fendrich Memorial Playwriting Award. My second, Martians Over Brooklyn, is a comedy about a Brooklyn neighborhood on the evening of Orson Welles' infamous martian radio broadcast. It is available from Heuer Publishing. Three more published plays are available as well, and I am pleased to share that my shows are being performed around the world. |
