Hi!

So, after a long hiatus, I am reentering the world of fanfiction. I used to write in middle school/high school under a different handle, but that's something I've moved beyond - so here I am as the Architect of Light, or occasionally Supernova Starlight, remade and hopefully a far better author than I used to be. I hope you enjoy!

You will be most likely to find stories in the following fandoms: Avengers/Marvel, Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Halo, and Transformers (movies/G1). I enjoy writing OCs and oftentimes pairings with OCs & preexisting characters, so please, expect this in most of my stories. I set very high standards for myself on story length and quality, therefore most will cross 60-70k words. Long-haul, to say the least.

I would like to also note that I write LGBTQ characters when they come to mind, and sometimes headcanon preexisting characters as part of the community. If you have any problems with that sort of content, I suggest you abandon ship now - I am gay myself and have no tolerance for homophobia/transphobia/etc. Discussion-based disagreements about my headcanons are welcome, though! We're all different and so it's only natural to have some variance in how everyone views these characters, which is part of what makes fanfiction so fun, really. But to reiterate, this is no place for singleminded judgement. No mercy.

A little about me. I am an adult old enough to drink, drive, pay bills, et cetera et cetera. I'm married (very happily!) to a lovely lady, and together we own four cats and foster many, many others, including bottle baby kittens which keep life SUPER hectic. Writing is a hobby only, but a definite passion second only to singing/music - though I work freelance in the beauty industry - and in addition to those, I spend my free time playing video games and kicking people's asses. I am half a Brit and lean heavily in that direction, which does reflect in some areas of my writing/spelling/vernacular. Apologies in advance if it's odd.

I will be cross-posting on AO3, unless otherwise stated. So don't be alarmed if you see me there too!

I don't think my account lets me do this yet - since it's so new - but I am currently open to be a beta-reader. I pride myself on my grasp of the English language, and love the manipulation of it that comes with writing fiction and prose. For beta-reading, I prefer to communicate by email (architectoflight117@) and use MS Word for all my editing and commenting needs, so if you don't have access to either please let me know in your requests!
