I have been reading stories on this site for years, quietly lurking in the background. In 2019, I finally gained the courage to start commenting on reviews as well as the courage to post some stories of my own.

I live in the United States, and have been a fan of SVU since it first started airing. There was a time when I got away from watching it, not because it didn't interest me, but because life simply got in the way. Several years ago, I was reintroduced to it by a friend, and fell back in love. Thanks to my Hulu subscription, I was able to watch from the very beginning, and got caught up to the then current season, which at the time was Season 15.

I must admit that while I do enjoy the current cast, I am a fan of the 'old-school' episodes - when the core cast was Elliot, Olivia, Munch, Fin, and Cragen. That group had such a wonderful working chemistry. The show today still does, but if not for the success of its earlier years, it wouldn't be what we have today.

While new to writing fics on this site, I'm not new to Fanfiction altogether. Back when I was 19 (many years ago, lol) I had written two stories for the X-files fandom that I had posted on the old Gossamer pages. They are probably still floating about somewhere on the web today.
