A/N: Hey guys, I'm planning to do a chapter for both Train in Vain and Should I Stay or Should I go, but I just haven't had the right inspiration for them yet. To hold you over here's how I imagined what happened on tour.

On Tour Part 1

Jude pressed the phone harder to her ear in an attempt to hear the person on the line. "Tommy?"

She turned her back to the boys. "I can't hear you." Spied watched as Jude started to walk to the back of the tour bus. "Hang on."

Jude closed the sliding door to the bedroom at the back of the bus. She slept in the bunks with the guys most nights, but she guessed the room was hers. "Tommy?"

"Hey, Girl." Jude felt the smile that threatened to break free at his nickname.

"Hey," She breathed.

Tommy took a moment. Just to process…her. "How's the tour?"

"It's great. I love it." Jude paused. She hadn't really spoken to Tommy all tour. Sure, they had made up after her first week gone, but that was it.

"Knew you would."

"How's G-Major?"

Tommy paused. "Waiting for you to get started on your second album."

"Yeah, I've been writing songs."

"That's great, Jude."

Jude waited, wondering if he would say anything else. All she could hear was his breathing. "I should probably go. We're supposed to be at the next show soon."

"Good luck."

Jude sucked in a breath as her phone clicked shut. As she made her way back to the couches she picked up her guitar and sat next to Spied. "How long til the next show?"

"Like 5 hours or something."

Jude nodded. "Wanna jam?"

"Let's rock it, dude!"

"Sadie," Tommy groaned into his pillow. "Sadie."

"It's yours."

Tommy opened one eye to glance at the nightstand. It was his phone vibrating obnoxiously. He reached out for it and flipped it open. "Hello?"

"Tommy?"

His eyes popped open. "Yeah. Gimme a minute." He sat up and pulled on his boxers. He mouthed, 'I'll be right back' to the blonde watching him curiously as he walked toward the hotel door. As the door closed behind him he lifted the phone back to his ear. "Jude?"

"Hi," she breathed. "Is now a bad time? I can go if you're busy or you need to-"

"Now is good." He closed his eyes as he listened to the noise from the line. "How's the tour?"

"It's great. Fun. Really fun." She paused. "How's G-Major?"

"Uh, I'm actually taking a week off."

"Oh. That's good. You deserve a vacation."

"Thanks." Tommy glanced down the hall as a man entered his room with a bucket of ice.

"You're not just staying home all week, right?" She teased.

"No, no." Tommy took a deep breath. "I'm actually in Rome." With Sadie.

"Oh."

He listened to her breathing change. "But I want to hear about you. How you're doing."

"Actually, I should go. I forget we have this thing and Spied is calling me and I should go. I'll talk-"

"Wait, Jude."

"…you later. Bye, Tommy." The line went dead.

He never meant to hurt her by telling her he was in Rome. He just didn't want her to find out through someone else, like Sadie. He knew it wasn't smart to answer, but she'd barely called him and the truth was that he already missed her. Missed talking to her everyday and working on her album and driving her home after a late night of recording. He shook his head to clear the thoughts from his mind. He couldn't be focusing on Jude, not while he was with Sadie. He opened the room door and made his way back to the bed.

"Who was that?" Sadie asked as she turned to look at his back.

He glanced over his shoulder. "Kwest. He couldn't find the key to my apartment."

"Oh. Did he find it now?"

"Yeah."

"Good."

Tommy sighed as he snapped his phone shut. Sadie insisted on calling every day during his lunch. She didn't seem to understand that he didn't have time to chit chat on the phone with her. Jude's contract was at stake. His job was at stake. When he returned from Italy he found Darius moving into Georgia's office and Jude's contract in the crossfire. He had to convince Darius to keep Jude before she got back from tour. A tour that had kept her so busy they had barely had time to make up after their fight. Whenever he could get her on the phone she was always distracted by SME or about to call Jamie, who she was dating now. He was sure the boy next door was loving that. He just couldn't shake that feeling that she didn't have time for him. Tommy tried to shrug it off. She would have time for him when she got back. He was her producer after all.
