A/N: So sad that this never had a chance to actually happen, but it's fun pretending!

James Potter awoke to an empty bed. He looked around at the blurry room before him in search for his wife. Seeing no one, James proceeded to grab his glasses from his bedside table and put them on his face. The room instantly became much clearer and he sat up in bed. He got up and left to the bathroom.

After brushing his teeth, James reentered his bedroom to find a small girl, with dark red hair and hazel eyes walking around in search of something.

"Daddy!" The girl exclaimed and came running towards him to give him a hug.

"What are you doing, Anne?" James said as he kneeled down to hug her back.

"Mommy said to come upstairs and wake you, Harry, and Ollie up!" Anne replied eagerly.

"Ok, then let's go." James grabbed is little girls hand as they traveled into Oliver Potter's room. The room was a light blue and the floor was covered with toys. On the bed was a still figure, recognized as Ollie, even though he was hidden by the covers. James, knowing his second youngest child's weakness, walked towards Olli's bed and started tickling him.

"Ahhh…" Ollie's muffled scream came from the mess of pillows and blankets on the bed. His giggles filled the air as Anne joined in.

"Ollie, it's time to get up! You're going to Sirius' today with Anne. Brush your teeth and come downstairs for breakfast." Ollie's answer to this was a small groan. James and Anne stopped tickling him. Picking himself up from bed, Ollie glared at his father and sister for doing to one thing he was defenseless to.

Satisfied, James and Anne continued on their wake up calls and made the trip into an 11 year old Harry Potter's room.

"Harry! We are going to Diagon Alley today for you school books!" With this loud statement from his father, an overly excited Harry Potter's green eyes shot open. Filled with excitement, he rolled of the bed in surprise. He hit the floor with a thud. The room was instantly filled Anne's giggles and Harry's groans.

"Brush your teeth and come down for breakfast." James said, chuckling. He grabbed Anna's small, 5 year old hand gently and led her into the hallway.

"And you, Princess, go brush your teeth, because I know you didn't." James grinned as Anna's delighted expression transformed into a pout. Nevertheless, Anna stalked into the bathroom.

James, now alone, walked down stairs into the kitchen to find his wife, Lily Potter, making pancakes. He quietly walked over to her.

"Hey, love." James whispered into her ear as his arms found their way around her waist.

"Hi." Lily said quietly before pressing her mouth to his. They were so drawn to each other that they didn't even notice as Harry walked into the kitchen.

"JEEZ, YOU ARE GOING TO BURN THE FOOD!" James and Lily promptly broke apart, laughing at the evident disgust in their son's voice.
