A/N: Couldn't leave it at 66 Chapters and certainly couldn't go without an Epilogue. You should know better than that by now!
In the Palace of Eternity…
The home to the infamous Sisterhood of Seven now stood empty for the first time in eleven years. With all of its former occupants now deceased or having moved on to better places, the Palace now sat dark and empty, the desolate wasteland surrounding it. However, it didn't stay that way for very long. Down in the throne room, a tall figure in a black coat walked through the front doors, walking into the Palace, looking around quietly at the relief sculptures on the walls as it walked.
The figure quietly made its way towards one of the staircases, beginning the dizzying climb towards the top of the top, to the Brink of Infinity. It passed through level after level, passing through the commons room where the Sisterhood had assembled, passing by the now abandoned rooms the Sisters once occupied, passing the burnt out ballroom, until finally beginning the final approach, reaching the Brink of Infinity. The figure approached the throne before it, stopping just feet away from it, standing in the perfect center of the Brink of Infinity. It then dropped to one knee in an irreverent bow.
"Master…" the figure said with a masculine voice, "…everything is prepared. Soon, the seals upon your prison shall be undone, and you shall be awakened, and freed, to once more bring Darkness, Death, and Discord upon the worlds."
No one answered, nothing replied. All that could be heard was the whistling of the winds around him. But the figure was patient as he waited patiently for an answer. Finally, his answer came when the seat of the throne suddenly burst into flames, the flames spreading quickly to the rest of the throne, turning the throne black and completely mutating it into a demonic throne, decorated with skulls and a large circular back. Suddenly the transformation reversed itself.
"Patience, my Master. The time is not yet right for your ascension. But we shall see to it that everything is prepared when the time comes." The figure said before rising to his feet.
"Thank you for coming, Horned King." The figure said before turning to face the Horned King who stood behind him along with the Phantom Blot.
"We answered your summons. With the Sisterhood defeated and routed, the servants of Darkness are scattered and aimless. We are at your disposal." The Horned King said as the figure gave a nod.
"The Sisterhood did its duty. They bought us the time we needed to prepare ourselves for the Awakening." The figure said before there was a loud metal clanging sound from nearby. The figure merely glanced in the direction of the sound and saw the same hooded Unknown that had attacked Terra, Ven, Kairi, and Axel in Twilight Town, with his sword stabbed perfectly vertically into the ground, the figure perched and balancing perfectly on the pommel of the sword, wearing a replacement cape that flapped in the wind.
"Hunter, report." The Figure ordered.
"The Keyblade Wielders I encountered in Twilight Town are strong. They will pose a significant threat. One of them is a Princess of Heart." The Unknown reported.
"A Princess of Heart, you say? Perhaps she is the Champion of legend." The Figure commented thoughtfully.
"I believe it unlikely, Master." Hunter replied.
"Don't be too quick to dismiss them too quickly. The Champion could potentially be her. For now, we must make the final preparations. It will take us nearly a month, but we will be ready when the Awakening is upon us." The Figure said before looking at Hunter again.
"Gather your brothers and sisters, Hunter." The Figure said.
"I already have, Master." Hunter replied with a bow, not losing his balance at all. Six Corridors of Darkness then proceeded to open around them, depositing six figures all dressed in matching black coats. The lead figure then turned to the throne, reaching into his sleeve.
"The Army of Darkness has assembled, my Master. We now move to prepare for your Ascension, as it was prescribed to us by my mortal Master." The figure said as he produced a black book with a white letter X on the cover, a black metal clasp keeping the book shut, and a white and grey spine. The figure ran a hand over the book, a Master's Tome before holding it over his head.
"Soon the drums of war shall echo once again as we, the faithful servants of Darkness initiate my mortal Master's magnum opus, as was written in this…"
"…the Book of Xehanort!"
