A/N: Just wanted to write a group of drabbles/one-shots for Annabeth/Percy/Nico that will be updated randomly when I have the free time. (Therefore, that's why it is labeled "Always Complete.") For the title Six Words, each story is based off of a smaller six word story. For example, this chapter is "Body heat is warmer," he claimed. Hope you guys enjoy.
Disclaimer: This goes for the whole series so I don't have to repeat it: I don't own PJO/HoO. Also, I may not own some of the six word story prompts; I got those from SixWordStories at LJ. Those prompts belong to whomever wrote them.
It was the first thing Annabeth noticed when she woke up.
"Gods, why is it so cold in here?"
She highly doubted the two beside her noticed. Nico was submersed in covers nose deep (she dully noted that he should not sleep in the middle, lest she freeze to death from lack of covers) and Percy was crammed up against the son of Hades as much as the mound of covers would allow.
Percy sent a lopsided smile to her. "I turned off the heat."
"Why?"
"Body heat is warmer," he claimed.
She fought the urge to roll her eyes and began her daily wake-up call.
Get Percy up?
Already up.
Get Nico up?
"Nico?"
. . .
"Nico."
. . .
"Nico."
"Hades, woman! Next time you decide shoving a person off the bed is a good wake-up call, do it to Percy."
Check.
As Percy helped Nico untangle himself, Annabeth shrugged on a sweater and a pair of Percy's old sweatpants. She shivered. She couldn't help the feeling that Percy planned this since this was one of the few days that she worked at home.
. . .
She was ninety-nine percent certain that he planned this.
The two practically tortured her by lounging on the couch, both obviously warm, while she froze by her makeshift desk that was once the dining room table. Percy frequently asked if she wanted to join them and brushed off her refusal like it was nothing.
"Suit yourself," he would shrug, cuddling up to Nico. "At least we're warm."
Annabeth broke by the fifth time.
"Scooch over," she huffed as she collapsed on the wide couch.
Percy grinned widely and pulled her in between him and Nico. She sighed at the warmth and prayed to her mother that he would never find out that she knew he was right.
