Rosso and the mysterious woman were walking through the shadows of the Shinra Manor carefully, awaiting Vincent's arrival. Rosso didn't speak a word to the woman yet, in fact, she didn't even know her name, but to be honest, she didn't care. All she wanted was to get what she came for: the Proto Materia.
After several more moments of silence, a voice that almost was a whisper came from behind Rosso that spoke her name. Standing up straight, Rosso turned to face the new Deepground member she was stuck with.
"What do you want?" She asked with attitude in her voice. The woman did not say anything at first in reply to Rosso, but instead she laughed evilly.
"Rosso the Crimson," the woman bowed to her. "It's an honor to finally meet you in person. I am called Jade. I wanted to introduce myself before but I didn't have the chance since Azul was around."
Rosso arched an eyebrow at her. "Why would I care?" She spat.
Jade breathed out a laugh at Rosso's reply. "I think you actually will care, if you let me to continue," she said. Reluctantly, Rosso motioned her hand for Jade to continue. "As I said before, I didn't want to say anything with the other Deepground members around, but truth be told, we have had our eye on you."
"What are you talking about?" Rosso asked, placing her hand on her hip.
"You see, while I am a member of Deepground, serving them… was never our intention," Jade explained. "Why I joined, is to actually speak with you about joining our organization."
"Not interested," Rosso said instantly.
"Why such a quick response?" Jade asked.
"I am loyal to Deepground and Deepground alone," Rosso replied. "What you are doing is something I will for sure report you for—"
"Are you sure you want to do that?" Jade asked. "You don't even know what our organization is capable of."
"I know you must not be capable of much," Rosso snapped. "You and whoever else is in your organization… I've seen the strategy enough times. Are you even an organization? From what I can gather, you and possibly another person are members but that is it. So what do you do? Sneak your way into other organizations to try and convince people to join yours. I am no fool, Jade."
Jade was silent for a moment, but she then huffed out another laugh again. "You're smart Rosso, which is exactly why we want you in this organization," Jade admitted. "But you are wrong on one part; we actually have three members counting myself. My brother convinced someone… who, just happened, to get us these."
Before Rosso could question her, Jade pulled out two, long cords from the holders on her waist, but when they came out, they expanded and formed two sais (A/N: see bottom of page) that were identical to each other. They both had a black handle and a black blade, with the handle slightly darker then the blade itself. But that is not what caught Rosso's eye, it was the dark blue, orange, and silver aura that came off of them that immediately told her these were not normal sais.
"Beautiful aren't they? Only thing is, what they are capable of is much greater," Jade explained. "Once these sais make contact with the skin, it sends a wave of energy through your blood that prevents any cure magic from healing you. It wears off of course, but by that time whoever it was used on will be dead if we injured them severely enough."
Rosso gapped at her words. "That's… not possible," she said.
"Oh but it is," Jade said. "I would show you, but I think I'll do that once our target shows up."
Rosso huffed. This was… impressive. "Surely, your Organization does not offer what I want accomplished," she argued. "I want Omega freed nothing more."
"I can understand your goal, but where does that get you?" Jade asked. "After you free Omega, then what? Where would that lead you? I don't see you or anyone in Deepground getting anywhere after you release him. Does this mean I don't want him released, no, but I am just planning ahead of that."
Rosso squinted her eyes at Jade as she continued. "My organization has planned far ahead. You see, we want to avenge someone who didn't deserve the suffering they got. We only see one way of doing that and thankfully, we seem like we are just in time."
"What do you mean?" Rosso asked.
"What we need is something that hasn't happened in centuries, something that has appeared only once in the timeline. Most people don't know about it for this very reason, only a few documents exist of it, but that only makes it easier to take advantage of without others wanting it as well," Jade paused. "I would go into more detail, but I can tell you aren't convinced."
Rosso had placed her hand on her chin. "I told you, I am only loyal to—"
"Deepground, I know," Jade snapped slightly. She sighed before she answered, "We knew when we started this organization that it was going to be difficult to form. But how about this: I know you were given the orders to take the Proto Materia from Vincent, but why don't you let me handle it—"
"Unacceptable."
"Is it really?" Jade quickly replied. "You were put in charge of me so you could show me the ropes, right? Well, I can assure you I know how to handle myself, and I will gladly fight them off instead of you. Hopefully, my fighting skills will be able to show you that our organization can top yours."
Jade looked to Rosso, who still looked unconvinced, but there was something about the way she looked at Jade that told her she was starting to get Rosso thinking about the situation. Rosso mostly just wanted to get the girl to shut up, and the only way she could do that is if she agreed. "Fine, show me what your 'organization' can do," she spat.
Jade smiled evilly, nodded, and thanked Rosso before she turned away from her, preparing to get ready for Vincent's arrival. However, before she left, she turned her head in the direction of the red haired woman one more time. "Oh, and just for future reference," she began, "Our name is the Organization of Discord."
And then she left.
…
"FINALLY!"
Sora fell flat on his face the moment he came out of the sewer hole, thanking Cosmos that clean air could finally enter his lungs. The sewer… was horrible: dirty, smelly, basically every bad adjective he could come up with. He only hoped that Vincent did not plan to head back to the WRO headquarters through there again.
He was about to stand back up but before he could, Vincent grabbed him by the back of his uniform and stood him up by himself. "Thanks for that—"
Vincent put his hand up before Sora could speak any longer. "Quiet," he whispered before he pulled out his gun and walked forward. Sora, following his lead, summoned his keyblade and tailed Vincent. As they continued to walk, Sora noticed Vincent's head moving from side to side, as if he was watching for something.
Before Sora could wonder what that was, Vincent stopped suddenly in front of him, bringing the keyblader to a halt. Sora looked around Vincent and saw that there was a woman, standing directly in front of them, her back turned. The keyblader had no idea who she was, but that was not the same for Vincent. "Lucrecia?" He asked.
Sora couldn't help but gasp before he looked at the woman. However, once he did that, Lucrecia began to flicker, proving that she was only a hologram of the woman that experimented on the gunman. "Omega… Is awakening," she stated as she turned to look at the two. "His only purpose given to him by Chaos is to destroy all things living (hologram flickered), to stop all power that threatened him. He served as Chaos' shield during the Keyblade War as well as a (hologram flickered). If Omega awakens, all life as we know it will end on this planet, before he goes to others and brings them to chaos as well."
The hologram flickered again before she continued. "I left some of my documents here for you Vincent," she flickered. "I hope that they will help you a little, if any at all. Just remember… I… Am so sorry…"
And just like that, the hologram of Lucrecia flickered one last time before it vanished, leaving no trace of her behind. Sora stared at where she once stood in awe before he placed his hands behind his head casually and said, "What was that about?"
But Vincent didn't answer him and instead the gunman stepped forward, looking more shocked then Sora had ever seen him before. "Lucrecia…" He said sadly.
Sora couldn't help but wonder what was going on in Vincent's head; Lucrecia experimented on him, so why was he acting so sadly? The keyblader thought Vincent would want nothing to do with her, but her he was, getting just as close to morning as Vincent got, which was simply lowering his head.
The keyblader figured he just had to get his mind off of it and looked around, searching for the documents. He did not see any, however over on the table not too far away from them; he saw what looked to be a flash drive that was practically calling their name. Sora was the first to walk up to it and he picked it up. "Do you think the documents could be on here?" He asked the gunman.
Vincent walked over to the table at Sora's words and took the flash drive from the teenager. He studied it closely before he placed it in his pocket. "Perhaps," he said with no emotion in his voice.
"Well then, let's get out of here, this place almost gives me more creeps then the sewers—"
Sora did not have the chance to finish his sentence because Vincent quickly placed his hand on the teen and pushed Sora behind him. Then, without warning, Vincent began to fire his gun at something that was moving quickly on the other side of the room. None of his bullets seemed to hit the target and the gunman had to reload before he could do anything else.
"Is that any way to treat your guest?" A woman's voice said. "Not that it's your house but still."
Sora and Vincent then looked over to where the voice was coming from and saw a woman, wearing all black and had a hood covering her face, before them. "Who are you?" Sora demanded her.
"Deepground?" Vincent asked in a question tone.
"Huh… Maybe, but what does it matter to you?" She questioned.
"You are Deepground!" Sora yelled to her. "Tell me, what are you planning to do with Omega?!"
"Does it really matter?" She asked him as she sighed. "I don't care what they do with him honestly, I am just doing what the boss ordered. He desires the awakening of Omega, so that's what he'll get; I could care less about this world."
"You people in Deepground are sick!" Sora exclaimed. "You don't care about what happens to the world… Well what about the other worlds? Omega is just going to destroy all of them!"
"Shut your mouth for once," she snapped. "My Chaos, you're just as annoying as they said you were, Sora."
"Don't tell me to…" Sora trailed off. "Wait… How do you know my name?"
"Who doesn't know your name," she snarled. "You are known throughout all the words, even though you don't deserve the praise you receive. However, the reason I learned your name is personal, and I am not going why."
"Personal?" He asked. "What did I ever do to you?"
Sora could tell that she was glaring angrily at him even though he could not see her face. "Oh, too much, I'm afraid," she replied. "But I am not here to deal with you, not yet anyway, I came for the Proto Materia, and I have been given orders to do whatever it takes to get it. Maybe if you hand it over nicely I'll spare your life, Vincent."
"I don't plan on that," Vincent said to her. She laughed at his response before she put her hands towards her waist to grab her weapons in her holder. When they came out, they looked to be just batons, but they then expanded into sais with a strange color variation aura coming off of it.
"Well, I warned you," she sighed. "But it looks like I'll be taking the Proto Materia by force!"
Oh man, I can FINALLY update... Sorry guys, I would have had this out the other day but for some reason FF wouldn't let me post the chapter in the document manager... And a lot of other people were having the same problem.
But anyway, so we finally got to see more of the mysterious woman, Jade. Just to give you guys a heads up, I would pay a lot of attention to what she is saying, because even though it may seem like she is coming off as one thing, it could mean a whole other thing.
Also, the theme I have chosen for this Organization of Discord is Darkrai's theme from Pokémon: Rise of Darkrai (one of the only Pokémon movies I like). You can find an extended version of it on YouTube if you search 'Enter Darkrai - Pokémon: Rise of Darkrai' It is an epic song!
And about the A/N, for all of you that don't know, sais is a traditional weapon from Okinawan Martial Arts. Remember Raphael's weapons in TMNT? Those are sais. Just thought I would tell you all since I had no idea what they were called until I looked them up.
So have you guys heard all these rumors that they are going to announce a release date for KH 2.5 HD Remix and Kingdom Hearts 3 at E3? 2.5 I can understand, but KH3? Really? Sigh, I would be really happy if they did announce a release date, but how on earth do people think that is going to happen? Oh well, at least it was confirmed that we would be getting some kind of KH3 news at E3 (plz new trailer).
Next chapter, we see fight against Jade and some other things! Be prepared guys, because from here on out, you can expect more twists!
Please R&R and look out for the next chapter!
