"I am King under the mountain!" Smaug roared at the company.

"Smaug!" A distinctly female voice called out. All looked round to see a woman with white blonde hair and violet eyes staring at the dragon. Her hands were on her hips and she was glaring at the dragon. Said fire drake shifted uncomfortably on his feet.

"Mother." He said respectively- startling the dwarves and Hobbit.

"Smaug, when you said you were going to explore beyond the known lands I did not think you meant this! Give the dwarves their mountain and gold back!"

"But mom!"

"No buts! You are to leave them in peace! Now! Or do I need to bring your brothers into this? So help me I will."

"Yes mother." He began slinking for the large entrance when the blonde woman held her hand up.

"Uh, uh, uh. Aren't you forgetting something? You've caused a lot of trouble after all."

Smaug's shoulders slumped and he craned his neck back to look at the company. "Sorry for sacking the mountain and killing all those people unnecessarily." He turned away and walked away, this time not being stopped.

"I apologise for my son's behaviour. I will be sure to keep him from repeating anything like this again."

"I'm sorry, but I'm a bit lost as to what's going on." Bilbo said.

She smiled. "I am Danaerys Stormborn of House Targaryen. My family is blood of the dragon and I was the one to hatch them again, bringing dragons back in the lands I lived in. As such, I am the mother of dragons. My son decided he was going to go exploring. I should have told him to come back sooner. This wouldn't have happened. I am sorry for what he's done. I must go now. I have a country to run." With that, Danaerys Targaryen left Erebor, leaving a group of stunned dwarves and a hobbit behind.
