Roberto was now falling from very high up, everyone below panicking. Jewel was almost at the brink of fainting from all of this happening at once, and the children were simply terrified. Suddenly, Tolverra burst into the sky from where she was on the ground and caught Roberto in her wings. She landed not so gracefully on nearest branch, landing on top of him. Roberto was still unconscious but mumbled a bit, Tol couldn't make out what he had said but she heard ''Blu'' in what he said. She looked up as everyone else was, Nigel was flying straight for Blu's throat, talons ready to kill.

Just then, a flash of green zoomed in between them...

It was Binny. The Harlequin macaw had saved Blu. But...Nigel's talons were successfully deep within Binny's neck. Nigel let go and Binny's limp body fell from the sky. Everyone down below screamed ''NO!'' as Binny hit the ground with a loud thump. Tol flew down with Roberto, ordering a couple of blue macaws to get some damp leaves to fan him with then rushed to Binny's side. She rolled him over to see he was bleeding, badly. Jewel covered her children's eyes from the sight. Tol checked his pulse then rested the side of her head on his chest to hear for a heartbeat, but there was nothing. She looked at everyone and shook her head sadly, resulting in mortified gasps from everyone.

''He is dead.'' she said, trying to not let her voice crack with emotion.

Blu and Nigel were looking down below at the whole thing. Blu looked back and forth from the unconscious Roberto to the dead body of Binny. Nigel simply laughed, clearly showing he truly had no compassion and was the very definition of evil. Falina was barely being pinned down now, but she was smirking as well, enjoying the show, rather than getting away.

Nigel looked back at Blu, still chuckling evilly. ''You see? You're all just weak, petty birds. You can't do a thing to stop me and you know it.''

Blu was still looking down, not showing his face.

''So just give it up, and allow me to kill you, and have the rest bow down to me!''

Blu still did nothing as he flapped in the air with Nigel. There was silence for a few minutes, and then Blu looked up.

''There is always something, that anyone CAN!''

He lunged at Nigel with full force, which Nigel did not expect as Blu was now pushing him towards the ground. Nigel was so shocked at Blu's new found strength his fighting back was now useless flailing. Everyone watched in shock as they came closer and closer to the ground, and then...

SMASH!

Everyone had flinched and looked away as they heard that loud crash, afraid of Blu getting crushed. But as they dared to look, they saw that he was fine...in fact, he had succeeded. Nigel had body parts bent this way and that, eyes wide open, he was now dead. Blu walked up to everyone, his family, the whole blue macaw clan. Roberto was stirring, but poor Binny, who they barely even knew, had passed. Blu had tears welt up in his eyes as he looked at Binny's body, and back at everyone else, while still looking serious.

''It is DONE! We WILL be at peace now!'' he announced with pride, resulting in the whole clan cheering.

He then turned to look at Falina, who definitely did not look so smug anymore, she in fact looked terrified.

''Roberto and I will never forget the betrayal of you, our own mother...but you are no longer family. You are BANNED for LIFE.''

She breathed heavily, feeling annoyed that her and Nigel's plan had failed, but looking into Blu's eyes now, she dared not to mess with him, so she simply flew off exasperated, not looking back.

Blu walked up to Jewel and his kids and hugged them all tightly, glad to finally be safe with him.

Jewel looked into his eyes lovingly and said ''I love you.''

Blu smiled and nudged her beak with his, showing his love for her back. Tol then interrupted the little family reunion to report on Roberto's status.

''He's going to be fine, he just needs a while to wake up now.''

Blu smiled, happy his brother was okay, but sadness quickly washed over everyone as they all gathered around Binny. Tol found a large enough leaf to cover his entire body, and everyone was gathered around now to pay their respects.

''Binny was a mysterious macaw, who showed up one day out of the blue'' Tol began, ''and sadly, we didn't get to know him well enough, we know nothing about him.''

Everyone had their heads bowed as they listened to her speak.

''But we will remember his kindness, and his bravery, for generations to come. We will tell the tale of him, passing it down. That much, this brave macaw deserves. May you rest in peace, Binny macaw.''

Binny had a sending off on the amazon river. Everyone had gathered round to watch as he was placed gently between two large leaves and floated off down the river. He would be a part of the great amazon now.

~ (Later) ~

Blu, Jewel, the kids and Tol were gathered around the still unconscious Roberto.

''Why isn't he waking up?'' asked a concerned Blu.

''He's still breathing!'' Tiago said, his little kid excitement in tact.

Carla rolled her eyes. ''We can see that genius!''

Tol cupped his face with her wings, looking him over. ''Well, he appears to be okay, I think this whole experience was all just too much for him. We just need to try to wake him up.''

Bia chimed in, ''According to what I've read before, we should splash cold water on his face!''

''OKAY!'' Tiago shouted, about to actually go get a huge amount of water to splash on him, mainly for the giggles...sadly that wasn't happening though as his mother stopped him.

''Kids, why don't we leave Roberto alone for a while? I'm sure he'll wake up soon, if Tol thinks his body wants him to rest.''

''Awww!'' all the kids said at once in disappointment as Jewel herded them out of there. Now it was just Blu and Tol with Roberto.

Blu looked at her again. ''So...what DO we do?''

Tol tried looking thoughtful, but she knew exactly what she was going to do. ''Blu, why don't you go be with the rest of your family, your mate and kids? I know what to do here.''

Blu nodded respectfully, but before he left he gave Roberto a big hug and whispered to him ''I love you, and I'm so glad I've got you as a brother.''

Once Tol and Roberto were completely alone, she looked at him thoughtfully, but also lovingly and part mischievously. She gently grabbed his face and brought it close to hers and kissed him. Roberto's eyes flew open but quickly closed again as he leaned into her kiss, gladly accepting her love.

As they broke away from the kiss, holding each other now, he said ''I knew it. You dig me. Duuuudeee!''

Tol pushed him away and crossed her wings in a sassy way. ''Seriously Roberto?''

Roberto laughed and gladly held her close again. His smile faded as he looked serious and worried though, as the memory of what happened came back to him.

''Blu! The clan! Is everyone alright? W-what happened?!''

Tol smiled. ''Everything is at peace now, Roberto. Blu stopped Nigel, and Binny had his send-off.''

''Send-off...?''

Tol frowned but smiled again as she wrapped her wing around him. ''It's been a crazy day and a bittersweet day. Come, Blu will explain the whole thing to you.''

And with that the two of them strolled outside together.

The whole blue macaw clan was at peace now, finally, total and definite peace. Though as sad as Binny's sacrifice was, it was not in vain, and the clan would forever remember him as a brave warrior; the mysterious Harlequin warrior. Everyone was happy now, rejoicing and celebrating their now definitive peace.

...

But wait a minute...someone was watching them from a nearby tree, unseen. Someone small, someone pink and black...Gabby. She turned away, her face shadowed sinisterly.

''I will avenge you, my love.''

Well that was fun. Actually, I was getting bored writing it, but I really wanted to at least finish it and let everyone know how it ends. And it ends with a CLIFFHANGERRRR HAHAHAAA! So, sequel? Maaaybee...maybeee not. You shall all have to wait and see, but for now, leave it up to your imagination. ;) I hope you all enjoyed this at first seemingly innocent family tale gone crazy.
