I plan to write every week from Saturday and then there on for all my stories and some will take longer.

I decided to rewrite this story, and no it will not be a different storyline, it's still the same with the Trunchbull blackmailing her, so and so.
Thank you for reading this note, and lets continue to our story.)

Matilda 2: Revenge of the Trunchbull

Chapter 1: Blackmail

Matilda couldn't be any happier to receive what she always wanted; a loving family. As do her teacher and adoptive Mother, Ms. Jennifer Honey. Everything fell into place. Matilda's parents, Harry and Zinnia Wormwood, including her older brother Michael escaped the country after the police incriminated Harry selling used stolen car parts for his Automobile Business.

After coming to conclusion after never once understood their daughter whom had adoption papers when she was old enough to xerox for finding them in a book, they gave her what they never could.

Although she never saw them again, she still receives P.O. Box letters from them once in awhile.

Ms. Honey was named Head Mistress at Crunchem Hall, and the students never had to be frightened by weekly visits of the Trunchbull tormenting students of being children. Only once in awhile Ms. Honey pays a visit for lectures.

Everything changed for the better, Matilda was moved up to the sixth grade, although she was a small fish in a big pond, she never once complained since the work in kindergarten was far too easy.

Her teachers were astonished by her academic work, and books were given to read to pass the time as her teachers went over lessons. Geography, World History, Environmental Science, and language books, French, German, and Dutch.

Her friends were jealous at first when Matilda multiplied a higher number 13x379=4,927. On the first day. But she did prove to be a good friend, and never once showed off she was smarter than them.

Lavender felt guilty when the Trunchbull accused Matilda for putting a Newt in her water mug. If Matilda revealed Lavender put the Newt in her mug, either chance would be Lavender would of been put in 'The Chokey' or assume both girls were in on the crime or assume Matilda was covering for herself.

'Best friends don't tell'. she recited.

The school no longer looked like a wasteland. Trees, flowers, and grass filled the whole courtyard. Everything became alive as if it weren't afraid to live.

Before then, Matilda's childhood wasn't normal like other children especially her home-life. Harry and Zinnia failed to notice how special their daughter was, like she was invisible.

By the age of two, she learned first-hand like any grown-person how to take care of herself. Brush her hair, tied in a ribbon. Dress herself. Button her shoes.
Her brother Michael attended school, Harry went out to sell cars, and her Mother played at the town Bingo.

Matilda was left alone, which was sometimes the way she liked it.

To occupy herself besides watching the television, she picked up newspapers, magazines, articles, anything she could find. The words were fascinating to her, any child would struggle to read at first with the help of assistance by an adult to teach them how words are pronounced, and have meaning to form a complete sentence.

She learned to read by listening closely how words are pronounced, and formed into letters and numbers in her head.

Some children are fast learners, and can ace it with a snap of a finger, but it did give her an idea what she can do besides watching the television with ridiculous programs.

As the days went by, she read complete sentences one newspaper, magazine, and article one page at a time. Once she got it under control, and how the words have meaning to complete the sentence, it all made sense to her.

By the time was four, she read everything she could find in the house. Cookbooks, newspapers, magazines, articles, etc. When she ran out of everything to read, she got up from her bed and asked her father what she truly desires.

A book.

Her Father was disgusted a child desiring a book when in his point of view can learn everything on the television. "Why don't you want a book for?"

"To read."

He coldly turned her down, and went back to watching the television. As young as she was, she already knew she was different from her family.

After her Father refused to buy her a book, she sought out to find one for herself. So, the next day after her Mother left for Bingo, she got out the phonebook, and looked up to find a book.

She opened the door, and walked out into the outdoors where everything was bigger than her. She walked the eight blocks to the library, as soon as she reached her destination. Little did she know, her desired wish would come true, and later on there would be more books than she could count at home.

She opened the door, and stepped in. The ticket to the world was open to her.

The front desk sat a woman in her sixties, Mrs. Phelps, the librarian. Matilda, carrying her little legs asked in a small voice."Where are the children's books please?"

Mrs. Phelps looked down from her desk, a child without a parent or guardian in the library alone, but kindly returned her question. "They're right over there, would you like me to find you one with lots of pictures?"

Matilda smiled."No thank-you. I'm sure I can manage."

She walked to where Mrs. Phelps pointed the direction to the children's area. She was astonished. No amazed how many books there were, she didn't know where to start.

She picked up a book from the first shelf, looked at the cover, smiled, and sat on the couch to read. It was that moment her mind opened up to the world of books, her imagination taking her as the words formed into pictures.

So everyday, after her mother left for Bingo, Matilda walked the eight blocks to the library, one book after another.

A few weeks have gone by, and Matilda finished all the children's book, and sought out to find more. Mrs. Phelps, who has been watching her for a few weeks got up from her chair, and led Matilda to find a book.

Matilda was amazed at how big, and large the books were. But a feeling came in how would she finish the first chapter before her family came home without her there; if they did care.

Mrs. Phelps helped her out on that."You can own your very own library card, you get to take them home with you. So you wouldn't have to walk here everyday, you can take more than one if you wish."

Mrs. Phelps handed her the book, and Matilda smiled."That would be wonderful."

After she got her library card, Matilda checked out books, one book after another her imagination grew. The army of King Arthur, Witches and Wizards, Slaying dragons, and many more. A thing she learned from the authors of her books, 'You are not alone.'

She wasn't alone, her books became her friends.

Her family one day were fed up with her constant of reading, after the first six and a half years of her life, she had enough.

One day, when she was reading her book from the library, 'Moby Dick' her Father snatched the book from her hand, and ripped out the pages. Matilda shocked and deceived. How can anyone hate a book if he have never read one?

After tossing the book on the floor, he forced her to watch T.V., she struggled to break free but to no avail. As the program played on the T.V., something deep inside her, a feeling unlike anything she never felt before, the negligence, ill-treatment, everything, it all boiled-up inside her. As the program played, she called out the feeling in her head, and seconds later, the T.V. exploded.

Was it magic? A coincidence? She didn't know. It came back to her when the Trunchbull tried to punish her for putting a Newt in her mug, she called out her power and made the glass tip over and made the newt jump onto the Trunchbull.

After the Trunchbull got the newt off her, she accused Matilda again for doing what she did to the glass, but Ms. Honey stepped in to protect her that how could she do it if she was sitting in her seat.

The class assumed the Trunchbull tipped the glass herself.

The power inside her made Matilda feel uneasy, when she tried to show Ms. Honey the first time, the plan backfired. She predicted it only came when she was angry, or maybe the power came when her mind was mature enough.

Later on, she called out to her power with a little practice, children whom receive powers from a book use them for some kind of ransom to get what they want, but what Matilda had in mind, she used them for a purpose. To help Ms. Honey get her house back, trick the Trunchbull to believe Magnus, Ms. Honey's Father, ghost come back to haunt her, and throw her out of the school, which succeeded.

After the Trunchbull disappeared, she never had to use her powers again. Well, almost never.

Later on, she looked up in a book in the library that her powers have a name called Telekinesis. A term used when a person develops the ability to lift objects with his mind. Some say it is genetic when you develop the ability to cook from your Mother, or the athletic ability from your father, but as far as Matilda could remember, no one in her family has ever had the ability of telekinesis.

The only people who know about her special telekinesis is her, Ms. Honey, excluding her friends, but it was never predicted if the Trunchbull figured her ability.

Everything turned out for the best, Matilda graduated from high school at the age of thirteen earning the title of valedictorian. Everyone gave her their blessing to go to college but she declined. Although she had many opportunities to go to Universities, she kindly turned them down. She said she wasn't ready to start college, and wanted to spend a couple more years of being a teenager, and then decide for herself if she was ready to start college.

After all, she had her whole life to decide what career she wanted to major in. After High school, she developed the ability to write. Plays, poems, novels. All the reading payed off, and her friends were astonished when she finished her Off Broadway Play 'Sheeple'.

Three years after she graduated from High school, she went to college. She now attends college in her hometown. Majoring in the field of Creative Writing. Although Ms. Honey encouraged her to attend a bigger college from out of town since she was mature enough to be on her own, Matilda declined because this is her home, with her family and friends.

Ms. Honey smiled, Matilda now sixteen all grown up, in college, everything was good, and happy.

Matilda finishes making copies for her book report for English Class 101. Sixteen and a half years old, only two years to graduate to earn her degree in Writing, and Teacher's Degree.

Her phone beeps from the back of her pocket, she neatly places the paper in her binder and checks her phone, its David, reminding her to meet him to study at the library for their Chemistry test on Monday.

She quickly sends him a text. Be there in five minutes.

She closes her phone, and puts it back in her pocket. She grabs her binder, and places it in her backpack. She walks out of the copy room, and walks to the library which is down the hall, up the stairs, and a swing to her left.

Matilda enters the library, and spots David going over his notes. David, who as well graduated at age thirteen, class valedictorian, is studying for his Degree in Technology and Science.

Matilda takes a seat next to him. She gives him a little shove,"You can name the Periodic Table from beginning to end, just a thought there."

With his eyes glued to his notes, he gets out a pencil to scribble notecards,"It's worth ninety percent of our grade, and I can't afford to get a B."

Matilda chuckles,"Your a straight A student," getting out her laptop, opening the computer."Besides, one time you said you could of done better on our last chemistry test, and I asked you what grade you gotten, you said it as if you received a B-, an A."

David closes his notebook,"I guess your right, I'll take a ten minute break."

Of course she's right. David was blessed to have met Matilda, he started a year before she applied, and he always felt like an outcast. College students who were eighteen or older often gave him the cold shoulder for being the smart guy.

A year later, he met Matilda in English class, they both graduated at age thirteen, class valedictorian, they quickly became friends within two days when they were paired up for an English assignment.

For the past few months, him going in Technology and Science, and her Majoring in her Teaching Degree and Writing Career, a feeling he never noticed like not the same way he looks at his mother, he started to develop feelings for Matilda.

He tried to ask her out but the plan seemed to backfire on him as if the universe was against him. Matilda was completely unaware which was a relief to him. One day when he was supposed to be concentrating in class, he got yelled by his professor one time when he was supposed to be taking notes and not daydreaming.

"Is there something you like to share with the class, Mr. Yantz?"

David cried,"No, sir." shaking his head.

The class gave some giggles, the professor tapped his ruler, and the class became quiet,"I will not tolerate children in my class, this is your final warning."

David shrieked, and continued to focus in class.

The memory follows him around when he's in class, but that never stopped him to think about her and not daydream.

Matilda finishes up her report to be sent one of her professors.

David checks his backpack, and shrugs,"Well that's fantastic."

"What's the matter?"

David sighs,"My little brother took my laptop without asking, and I can't send my term paper to my professor."

Matilda saves her report,"You can use my laptop, if you saved it on a flash drive, you can send it on my computer."

Matilda pulls up her email, as she logs in she has a new message from an email address she doesn't recognize. She clicks on the email, she frowns then her frown turns upside down as if she has gone into shock.

The email reads,

I always knew you were the one who caused all the trouble. Some call it a bunch of Hocus Pocus. The fear died down not so long ago, I will have my revenge to get back what i want. Enjoy the last seven days of life, where not even the crows can hear your sorrow cry.
You can't underestimate me, my dear.

Now remember, it begins with a cry.

Matilda closes the email, and finishes sending her report to her professors. She hands her laptop to David and almost drops the computer.
David sets down the laptop and checks the email, Matilda tries to stop him after forgetting to log off, but it's too late,"Matilda, is there an explanation to whoever sent you this email?"

She shakes her head,"Log off, and send your term paper."

A few seconds later, she becomes frustrated when he doesn't budge to log off her account,"Finish your report."

He logs off the account, and connects his flash drive to finish his report to be sent to his professors. After an hour of studying for exams tomorrow, Matilda packs up her stuff, and hurries out of the library to head for her car.

David follows after her, Matilda runs down the stairs to avoid questions but he was quicker than her. He blocks the exit with his arm,"Matilda. Do you know anyone who would do that?"

'He wouldn't understand'. Voicing these thoughts."Sort of."
She pushes his arm and exits the building, David watches her as she makes her way to her car, she throws her stuff in the backseat, and starts the engine. David watches as she drives away.

"I don't know who's threatening you like that, but I'm gonna find out."

It takes about thirty minutes from the college to the house. Matilda pulls up from the driveway, and gets out of the car, she takes out her things from the backseat, and unlocks the door with the key.

"Ms. Honey, I'm home."

The house was silent, Ms. Honey wasn't home. Matilda sets her bag on a chair, and walks into the kitchen. She opens the fridge, and grabs an apple.
She takes a bite, and grabs her bag from the chair to get out her laptop.

She opens the computer as she eats her apple, a few seconds later after she has logged on, she looks over the email.

She sets down the apple, and looks at the last sentence. 'Now remember, it begins with a cry.

But, what did it mean?

"It begins with a cry." she recited.

It made no sense, in her point of perspective, everyone cries. She scrolls over to see who sent to email. The first letter starts with an 'A' and a bunch of numbers from 1-7.
The sound of keys unlocking the door startles her, its Ms. Honey. Home from work.

Matilda closes her laptop until she can further investigate.

"Hi Matilda, how was school?"

"The usual. We're all studying for exams tomorrow." said Matilda.
Ms. Honey pours water into a kettle to make herself tea."Would you like some tea."

"Yes, please." she smiles.

She takes another bite of her apple, she didn't notice, she at almost ate all of it including where the seeds are in the middle. She throws the pits into the garbage, and sits down.

Ms. Honey gets out the ingredients for supper, Matilda feels her forehead. She's sweating, she has to tell someone about the email. Ms. Honey and Matilda made an agreement several years after she was adopted, never be afraid to tell Ms. Honey anything, she wasn't just her teacher and friend, she was her family, and Mother.

"Ms. Honey, will you sit down for a moment?"

Ms. Honey puts down the vegetables from the sink, she turns off the water and dries her hands on a towel. She takes a seat, and looks down at her hands,'You know you should be calling me 'Mom', usually adoptive children call their 'New' Mother 'Mom' "Mama' "Ma'.'' she chuckles.

"Sorry, I guess I never realized."

Ms. Honey waves it off," No pressure. So why did you need me to sit down, is something wrong?" she studies her face which clearly marks something is wrong.

Matilda opens her laptop, and clicks on the email that was sent hours ago. puts on her glasses, and reads the email. She reads it three times, but what catches her attention is the last sentence which makes no sense to her at all, including Matilda.

She closes the window, and sets the laptop on the side.

Matilda breaks the silence, It can't be her. It just can't. It's impossible."

Ms. Honey frowns,"Matilda, you don't know that. I know what your thinking after ten years ago, but it could mean many things. What brought that on?"

Matilda knew herself she should of never brought Ms. Honey into the situation, but she remembered her agreement to always tell Ms. Honey everything.

"I don't know. It must be what she used to threaten us with. You don't think she figured-" she stops at the last sentence.

Ms. Honey shakes her head. Matilda's Telekinesis.

She chooses her words to find a way to help her out," No Matilda, as long as you live in my house, your safe. I know your reflecting back all those years, this could be what you call a joke from your classmates. Didn't you say your friend including yourself received the cold shoulder?"

Matilda nodded, it sort of made sense, but it died down six months after she arrived. Ms. Honey continues,"The students at the college could of gone to the same school, and recalled memories of my Aunt. I am telling you now. Do NOT reply back. Save it for evidence if you receive another one. We will figure it out together, and I promise no one will touch my daughter."

Ms. Honey gives her a hug, and rubs her back which felt soft. The tea kettle boils and Ms. Honey quickly takes it off the stove to prepare herself some tea, and for Matilda.

She pours the tea in cups, and sets down the tray of cookies on the table, just like the first time when Matilda was invited to Ms. Honey's cottage.

After a few sips of tea, and a couple of cookies, Matilda decides to take a nap.

She wipes her mouth on a cloth, and grabs her laptop, and her bag. she climbs the stairs and opens her door to the bedroom. She sets her laptop on the desk with the email open. She frowns and slams the computer shut.

Ms. Honey could be right, it could be her classmates who must of had the Trunchbull as their principal several years ago, but the feeling made less sense to her, her classmates accepted her when she proved to be a good friend like the first time when she started school in kindergarten.

Her eyes are beginning to close, and takes off her shoes and socks, and tosses over.

After a few minutes of tossing, she goes to sleep.

(A/N So how was that? i try to make it longer so you can read on. If your wondering why Matilda still calls her 'Ms. Honey , well some children take much longer to call their new Mother well Mom, some children also call them by their first name, which that's only for some foster children or newly adopted.
I have a relative of mine who was my teacher and I still can't call him by his first name, blame my perfectionism.

Did you spot something which in real life Mara Wilson wrote her off Broadway play. See if you can find it. If you want to find out what she's been up to these days, you can go check out her twitter and blog.

So what does the last sentence mean from the email? Only I know the answer to that. You'll have to read to find out. I'll see you next chapter.)
