One Piece: ASL Pirates Special

Episode of Sabo

Last time on One Piece: ASL Pirates Special,

After arriving on Mahlzeit, Sabo and the crew ran into the vicious pirate El Drago. They, along with some others, joined El Drago and his crew in finding Woonan's great treasure.

Once on the island, they followed the clues left on the map. They soon found Woonan's castle, but it had no gold. El Drago proceeded to destroy it in attempt to find the gold. With El Drago about to destroy young Tobio for speaking out, Sabo and his crew went into action allowing Streak and Tobio to escape to the real location of the treasure.

Sabo and his crew soon escaped El Drago. Now, they hurry to the same destination where Streak and Tobio are heading. Will they find Woonan's treasure? Is Woonan alive? Find out… Now!

We return to Sabo and his crew as they are now climbing the large plateau. They moved along the side of the cliff face carefully and cautiously. The wind was blowing against them. Sabo took the lead having plenty of experience climbing. Nix and Suzy were spaced behind him. They were already many feet up the plateau.

"Be careful, guys!" Sabo shouted towards his crew. "Don't get blown off!"

Both Nix and Suzy nodded and continued to move. As they did, a part of the rock broke making Suzy slip.

"Ahh!" Suzy screamed.

Nix quickly caught her. "Don't you ever listen?" Nix said jokingly.

"Just pull me up." Suzy said annoyed.

Nix pulled Suzy back up. He then turned to Sabo. "We're good." Nix stated.

"Hey!" Suzy shouted towards. "Do you think we'll find Streak and Tobio going up this cliff?"

"Yeah!" Sabo called back as he held onto his hat as the wind blew. He then spoke softly to himself, "And maybe even Woonan too."

"I really hope the treasure is up there." Suzy shouted excitedly.

"I just hope that we don't run into El Drago again." Nix stated as he moved across the cliff face.

"Come on!" Sabo shouted leading the group.

As they climbed higher, the path widen to a more comfortable footing. Once the group was on, they all moved fast to reach the top. As they ran, they passed by a small cave. None of them noticed a group of three inside it. Luckily, the group saw them. Out from the cave came out Streak.

He shouted, "Hey! Guys!"

Sabo and his group stopped. "Streak?" They said turning back to the man.

Woonan's Greatest Treasure

Sabo's group joined Streak inside the cave. They soon saw Tobio, and one other they didn't expect.

"Gramps?!" They shouted together in surprise.

"Hello." Ganzo greeted looking rather solemn. On his head was a towel and pot tied around his jaw.

"What are you doing here, Gramps?" Suzy asked as she and the others sat down.

"After seeing you all so determined, it got me thinking…" Ganzo stated as he crossed his arm looking serious. "I decided to visit an old friend."

Tobio looked at his grandfather confused. "Friend? You have a friend here?" He asked.

"Burying treasure in the highest place has always been his way of doing things…" Ganzo stated with familiarity. "On this island, this is the only place he would do it."

Sabo immediately became suspicious. He asked, "Wait? Are you talking about…?"

"My old friend, Woonan."

Everyone gasped. Even Tobio, who was his grandson.

"You knew Woonan." Streak said in awe.

"It was a long time ago…" Ganzo said as he begun to reminisce. "He and I were like brothers. We grew up in the same village.

He then went into a story of two friends; the story of Ganzo and Woonan. They both lived poor lives. Woonan wanted to become a pirate and capture the wealth of the entire world having grown up with meager wealth. On the other hand, Ganzo found content in making oden learning from his friend's poor father. Though they disagreed much in philosophy, they were the best of friends. However, even good friends can fight. In one spat, these two boys over their pride caused them to fall off a cliff. Luckily, Woonan's pirate flag caught a tree. Woonan held on to it tightly and Ganzo onto him, but the flag would not last long. In an act of pure selflessness, Ganzo let go so his friend may live.

"Oh my Oda…" Suzy said speaking as Ganzo finished. "Did… Did you die?"

"What do you think?" Nix said.

"By chance, a ship passed nearby at the time." Ganzo stated solemnly.

"So, you didn't die." Suzy stated disappointed.

"No shit!" shouted everyone in frustration.

Ganzo continued his story. "When I woke up three days after the incident, Woonan had already left the village. We never saw each other again." He said sorrowful.

Tobio was shocked by his grandfather. "I didn't know that." He said near stunned. "Grandpa knew…"

"The Woonan I remember started changing from that time. That stubborn, obstinate man who wouldn't try my oden. But I think now he would definitely eat it. This pot of oden which I've put my life into…" Ganzo stated sounding determined.

Sabo looked intrigued. "A pot of oden which you've put your life into…" He said smiling.

"Now," Ganzo said before standing up full of energy. "Let's not waste our time being here. Or the oden will get cold."

Sabo grinned and stood up as well. "You heard Gramps. Let's get moving. Woonan and his treasure are waiting for us." He stated determined.

"Right." Nix said agreeing as he stood up as well.

"Awesome!" Suzy cheered.

"Man, this is getting exciting." Streak said grinning excitedly.

The group then left the cave and followed up the ledge. From there it was straight shot to the top of the plateau. Once they reached the top they all saw a small house at the center of the plateau. In seeing it, everyone ran straight towards it. Sabo was first to make reach the door and opened it. They all then entered inside.

"There's nothing here." Sabo said as he and everyone looked around the empty room.

"No way!" Tobio shouted as he ran into an adjacent room. "It's empty over here too!"

"Did Woonan really live here?" Nix questioned seeing how empty the house was.

"No tables. No chairs. No fridge. How did this guy live?" Suzy stated overly shocked.

"There's a fireplace." Sabo stated curiously. He then walked over to the fireplace and examined it. "It couldn't be…" Sabo said in disbelief. He then pushed on the fireplace, which immediately slid revealing a secret passage.

"That's amazing!" Suzy shouted in awe.

"How did you know?" Streak asked.

"I think anyone could find it." Sabo said humbly.

"Hey look," Nix spoke as he looked down the hole. "You can do down from here."

"A basement?" Ganzo said questioned.

"Woonan should be down there then." Tobio said with excitement.

"Along with his mountain of gold!" Streak said sounding a bit greedy.

"When did you get greedy?" Nix asked dumbfounded.

Streak thought for a moment. "How long have we've been in this house?" He asked sounding serious.

As everyone was about to go down into the basement, Suzy suddenly got a sixth sense. "Duck!" She shouted as she tackled the group to the floor.

Suddenly, the whole building was shredded to rubble. In the smoke, Golass held his sword up. He looked very serious.

It was lucky that Suzy had made everyone duck down. For now, their only injuries were the bruises from the rubble. The Sabo crew soon moved the rubble off their bodies. The door was lifted as Streak protected Tobio and Ganzo. As Tobio looked up to see who had attacked the building. He gasped when he saw the last person he wanted to see, El Drago.

"'If the whale faces west, the tail points to the east.'" El Drago said quoting from earlier. He did not look pleased. He shouted, "What a bunch of crap!"

"Shit!" Streak cursed fearful.

Tobio and Ganzo looked defiantly at the pirate captain. Neither one of them looked ready to back down.

"Captain El Drago!" shouted Donny as Danny and Denny removed rubble off the secret passage. "There's an entrance here."

El Drago chuckled gleefully. "So the gold is down there." He then looked to the rest of his men. "Okay, you guys bring it out."

"Aye!" shouted the El Drago crew.

Before they could move, Tobio stood up. Ganzo tried to stop him, but couldn't. "Stop!" Tobio shouted.

El Drago look annoyed at the boy. He swung around throwing a punch towards the kid. Swiftly, Streak got in front of Tobio and took the hit. He was sent flying back crashing into the debris

"Streak!" shouted Suzy and Tobio.

"Blondie…" Ganzo said shocked by the man's action.

El Drago noticed Ganzo and eyed the pot on top of his head. "What's this, gold?" He questioned with interest. El Drago then picked up the pot along with Ganzo. He untied the pot causing Ganzo to fall. He then opened the pot and looked in it.

"What? Oden?" El Drago questioned confused.

"Stop!" Tobio shouted.

"Huh?" El Drago said as he turned his head.

"That is…" Tobio stood before El Drago lifting a rock ready to attack. "The oden that my grandpa put his life into for Woonan. You people…don't touch it."

El Drago smirked cruelly. He then dropped the pot spilling the content onto the ground. El Drago then proceeded to step on it. Tobio gasped in shock. Sabo and his crew glared at the man. Ganzo stared at El Drago's stomping foot in shock seeing his precious oden go to waste.

"Are you satisfied now?" El Drago asked sadistically.

No longer taking El Drago's attitude, Tobio screamed in rage. He lifted the rock over his head and charged at the pirate captain.

"You want to die that badly?" El Drago said as he readied to beat the kid senseless.

"Tobio!" Ganzo shouted.

Before El Drago could hit Tobio, a pipe struck his face. He stumbled backwards, but quickly caught his footing. Tobio stopped seeing the El Drago stumble back. Who had saved him?

"You!" El Drago growled seeing the person who hit him.

Tobio turned around to see Sabo, Nix, and Suzy standing behind him looking strong and determined. Sabo then stepped forward towards El Drago, but he stopped before the crushed oden. He kneeled down and scooped the oden into his hand. His crew and Tobio watched intently wondering what he was doing. Sabo, with a grin on his face, ate the oden. Nix and Suzy were surprised. Everyone watched as Sabo continued to eat the oden, and enjoy it. Tobio watched Sabo amazed at his action. Soon, Sabo finished his meal.

Sabo smiled. "Delicious." He stated joyfully. "It's no doubt that Gramp's oden is the world's best."

Sabo then looked at El Drago. He gave him a fierce glare. "I will not forgive you for this!" Sabo stated determined.

"What are you babbling about?" El Drago shouted confused. "Take care of them, Golass!"

Golass immediately jumped into the fare. He swung his large sword at Sabo. However, he soon found it blocked away.

"Suzy…" Sabo said calmly.

Suzy stood between Golass and Sabo. She had a wide smirk on like she was itching to fight. "I wanna fight him." Suzy stated.

"Go for it." Sabo said smiling.

"Ha! There's no one more skilled with swords than Golass." El Drago said boasting. "Golass! Cut this guy into pieces!"

"I'm a girl!" Suzy shouted agitated.

El Drago, and all of his crew, were stunned by Suzy's declaration. El Drago blushed before speaking again. "E-Every cut I will give you 200 gold pieces. If you kill her it'll be 500." He said sounding less invigorated.

Despite being thrown off by Suzy's statement, Golass grinned with greed. He then leaped forward at Suzy. He was going to swing his saber down upon the young girl. Suzy stepped to the side while also deflecting the blade away from her. She then brought her sword towards the man to slice him. Golass dodged and swung his saber again. This time, Suzy blocked the sword instead of redirecting it. Golass poured in his strength and began pushing Suzy back.

"S-So powerful!" Suzy shouted surprised.

"Go Golass!" El Drago shouted. "I'll give you 1000, 1000 gold pieces!"

Golass roared as he pushed back further. Eventually, the man pushed Suzy into a boulder. Upon impact, Suzy screamed out in pain.

"Suzy!" Nix shouted worriedly.

"Don't." Sabo spoke stopping Nix from jumping in. "She can fight her own battles."

"Damn…Straight!" Suzy shouted. Unfortunately, Suzy had yet to find a way out of her predicament.

"Die!" Golass growled through his clenched teeth.

Suzy was having a hard time with the man's strength pinning her down. As she stared at Golass determined not to die, she took notice of the man's expression. It didn't look like the expression of a man determined. "What are you ashamed of?" Suzy asked curious, despite the situation she was in.

Golass flinched in surprise.

"Do you not want to kill me?" Suzy asked becoming increasingly curious.

Golass said nothing, but he was reacting as if Suzy was reading him like a book. His grip was shaking and his strength slowing easing off the girl.

"My grandpa once said that 'a swordsman who draws his sword for greed has no pride'." Suzy stated sounding surprisingly serious. "You've given up your pride in wielding a sword."

"Golass, why are you hesitating?" El Drago shouted annoyed. "Kill him!"

Though Golass continued to threaten Suzy with his saber, Suzy wasn't giving up. She began pushing back against him slowly. "You definitely…have skill." Suzy admitted serious. She then placed her feet against the boulder. She began to use the shoulder to push Golass even more.

Golass was completely stunned by the girl's determination and strength.

"But without pride in sword, you will always hesitate." Suzy stated as she kept Golass at bay. She stepped off the boulder onto the ground continuing to push her opponent. She shouted, "And that is the difference between you and me!" Suzy then pushed Golass away.

Golass was stunned for just a moment. He then roared in anger as he charged back at her with his saber out towards her.

"One-sword style…" Suzy said as she held her sword horizontal at chest-level. Then, in a flash, Suxy passed Golass with her sword extended outward. "Bear Claw."

Golass stood for a moment. His shirt then ripped open and blood spilled out. Golass then fell defeated. El Drago's mouth agape in shock.

Suzy breathed out heavily. "I avoided…hitting the important stuff." She said in a concerned tone. "Let's have another duel when you get your pride back. Kay?"

Golass didn't respond. He only moaned in pain.

"I never knew she was so strong." Tobio admitted surprised.

"It's not over yet." Sabo said as he walked forward brandishing his pipe staff. He walked towards El Drago.

"Hey!" El Drago's crew soon stepped in between Sabo and El Drago. All were ready to defend their captain. "You'll have to go through us!"

Sabo kept walking unafraid. From behind him, Nix transformed in his hybrid form casting a shadow over the pirates. This freaked the El Drago crew. Nix then released a threatening growl.

"AHH!" screamed the pirate crew. They immediately took off trying to escape the Fox Man.

"I've got this." Nix said as he then gave chase.

El Drago looked annoyed at his crew's incompetence. He then turned back to Sabo as the he stood before him.

"Now it's your turn." Sabo said determined.

"Bastard, now you've really angered me." El Drago stated looking mad. He then began to glow as he gathered energy.

"Oh shit, run away!" shouted Danny as he and the other Hyena Three ran off.

"Oh no!" Suzy said as she ran over to Ganzo and Tobio. "Get away!"

"R…Right." Ganzo said fearful before he and his grandson took off.

El Drago roared launching his sonic attack. Sabo stood his ground as the attack came at him. He begun to spin his pipe. Once done enough showing off, Sabo stopped and held his staff out like a bat. When the sonic blast was close enough, Sabo batted the attack away. El Drago gasped as he watched his attack fly off the plateau. A few seconds later, there came an explosion.

"What?!" El Drago shouted shocked. "How?"

"I guess you didn't know." Sabo said as he held his pipe out. "My staff can fight against Devil Fruit users."

El Drago growled. "Stop screwing around!" He shouted as he charged forward.

Sabo rushed forward as well. The two pirate captains began exchanging attacks. El Drago used his fist and claws to hit. Sabo used his staff with a mix of punches and kicks. Unfortunately, since the staff was only in contact with El Drago for a short time it did not have much of an effect on him. On the other hand, El Drago's claws were very effective, and combined with his surprising speed made it difficult to dodge. Sabo soon felt the sting of El Drago's claws as it ripped through his clothes to his skin. Sabo shouted out in pain.

"Sabo!" Suzy shouted.

Sabo continued to dodge El Drago's fury of swipes. He needed to get out of this situation fast. He glanced back and saw his opportunity. Using some rubble, Sabo used it to trip himself into falling back. El Drago didn't react quick enough to notice Sabo as he passed over him. He stopped and turned around ready to attack. Sabo quickly rolled backwards onto his feet, and jumped with his fist connecting to El Drago's jaw. The man groaned in pain as he stepped back. Sabo then turned and jump kicked El Drago in the face. El Drago then fell back hitting the ground.

"Captain El Drago!" shouted Denny with the others completely shocked. They then turned and gasped immediately running afterwards.

Nix landed on the ground scaring more of the El Drago pirates away. He then turned as he saw Sabo stand above a down El Drago. "Alright, captain!" Nix cheered.

"So strong…" Tobio said amazed.

"Is that it?' Sabo said sounding cocky.

El Drago looked unconscious, but he soon roared in rage. As fast as lightning, El Drago shot up and attacked Sabo with his fist. Sabo gasped and jumped back, but El Drago was too fast. He knocked Sabo down onto the ground. Now on the ground, Sabo saw El Drago's claw striking down at him. He moved his head to avoid the strikes.

"Die, you bastard!" El Drago shouted.

"Shit!" Sabo cursed as he was completely pinned down.

"Sabo!" Suzy shouted as she was about to run in to help. However, someone ran pass her. Suzy completely stopped in shock.

"Hey, bastard!"

"Huh? What!" El Drago shouted as he stopped his attack. He turned to see the young man he had punched running straight at him with his palm out.

"Scale Breaker!" Streak shouted as launched his palm forward. It connected with El Drago's gold armor. Instantly, the armor broke and El Drago was forced back.

Donny shouted in shock, "El Drago's gold armor it…"

"Shattered!" shouted the Hyena Three stunned.

"Amazing!" Tobio said amazed. "When was Streak so good at fighting?"

"I always thought he had it in him…" Ganzo commented with suspicion.

Sorry if I intruded onto something." Streak said as he offered a helping hand to Sabo.

"No, I appreciate it." Sabo said as he took the hand. Unfortunately, when they went to pull, Sabo overpowered Streak causing him to fall over. Sabo was stunned.

"Sorry," Streak said with his face in the ground. "I haven't recovered yet. You'll have to finish him."

Sabo nodded. "I can do that." He said before looking at El Drago who was recovering from Streak's blow.

El Drago, who had just enough of this fight, roared in rage. "The gold belongs to me!" He shouted before he began to glow fiercely.

Sabo did not falter before the fierce power El Drago was accumulating. He ran straight toward the man. El Drago was about to fire, but Sabo lunged his pipe at the pirate captain. It made contact and El Drago's glow suddenly went off.

"Wh-What?" El Drago shouted slightly weak.

Sabo then shot forth ramming his fist into El Drago's gut. The power of his punch sent El Drago flying back. With the Sea Prism Stone staff off, El Drago's Devil Fruit power came back in full. Since he was screaming in pain, he blasted himself off the plateau crashing below. El Drago now laid in a crater unconscious and defeated.

"Cap…Captain El Drago…"

"…has…"

"Lost!" said Danny, Denny, and Donny in pure shock.

Sabo grinned in victory.

Suddenly, Nix landed behind the Hyena Three. The three men slowly turned around shaking fearfully. Nix looked down on the three of them and grinned toothily. "Boo." He said.

"Ahhh!" screamed the three men. They immediately ran off, but nearly ran into Sabo. They screamed again before running. Following behind them was the rest of the El Drago crew carrying Golass.

"Yeah! You better run!" Suzy shouted swinging her fist. She then watched as the entire crew, being so scared, ran off the edge of the plateau in cartoon fashion. As such, when they noticed the missing ground they fell screaming. Suzy watch dumbfounded. She then turned around shrugging. "I'm sure they're fine…probably." She said.

"Whatever." Nix said as he transformed back to his human form.

"Are you okay, Streak?" Sabo said as he sat down next to Streak.

"Yeah…" Streak said before rolling over onto his back.

"What was that back there?" Sabo asked curious. "I didn't think you were a fighter."

"I am."

Sabo looked down at Streak. Unlike when he navigated the El Drago crew, he looked way surer about himself than ever.

"By the way," Streak said as he sat up. "The name's Drake."

"Eh? Really."

"Yep!" Drake said smiling proudly. "Born in the West Blue on Ryu Island on August third. It was warm day that day. A little cool, but just right for-"

"I'm guessing you recovered your memory." Sabo said sweat-dropping from the information overload.

"Hm? Oh yeah!" Drake shouted standing up with excitement. "I remember things!"

"What?" Tobio said as he and his grandfather walked over to Sabo and Drake.

"Ah, Gramps." Sabo said as he stood up as well. He flashed a smile towards Ganzo. "I'm sorry. I ate all of the oden for Woonan." He apologized.

Ganzo laughed wholeheartedly. "Your stomach is going to be upset, if you ate that stuff." He advised humorously.

"I'll be okay." Sabo stated carefree. "I've eaten worst." He then laughed.

Ganzo smiled impressed by the boy. Tobio stared up at Sabo amazed.

"Hey!" Suzy shouted as she and Nix joined the group. "Enough of this talking! Let's go find Woonan and his treasure!"

"Right." Sabo said nodding in agreement. He and everyone turned to the secret passage.

They all entered the passageway. As they reached further down they soon found their light fading with even deeper to go. On the wall, Sabo found a torch and lit it. He then led the way further down the passageway.

"Finally, we'll get to meet Woonan." Sabo said with a hint of excitement.

Everyone nodded in agreement as they traveled downward. It wasn't long before they reached the bottom. The stairway led into an old wooden door. All of them stared at it determined.

"This is it…" Drake said.

"Behind this door is Woonan…" Sabo spoke calmly. Everyone nodded. All were ready for whatever risks lay behind this door. Sabo then approached the door and opened it.

Once open, everyone followed Sabo in just a few feet. As the light shined through the room Sabo gasped before stopping. Everyone looked forward to see what Sabo saw. They revealed a mostly empty room. There was but one thing left; the skeletal remains dressed in pirate captain clothes.

"This… This is…" Nix spoke but too shocked to say outloud.

"No way!" Tobio shouted in disbelief nearly tearing up. "This can't be Woonan! It's a fake! Woonan must be somewhere else."

Ganzo stepped up behind Tobio. He placed a gentle hand upon his grandson. Tobio looked up towards his grandfather as his tears spilled out. Ganzo gave the boy a solemn look.

"Grandpa…" Tobio said sadly as tears flowed out of his eyes.

"Hey!" Suzy shouted as she looked at the wall behind the group. She pointing to something. "Look here!"

Sabo turned around lighting the back wall. The light revealed writing all over the wall. The group was completely in awe. Ganzo stepped forward.

"No doubt about it," Ganzo said surely. "That's Woonan's handwriting."

"'To the people who came here for the gold…'" Drake said as he read the writing out loud. "'My name is Woonan. Formerly the man known as the 'Great Gold Pirate'…'"

"Formerly?" Nix questioned curious. "What does he mean by that?"

"'But now I'm just a man waiting to die. All the gold I've gathered has been returned to its rightful owners.'" Sabo said continuing the message. He then frowned. "Aw, man."

"'This was a battle. To fulfill my childhood dream.'" Suzy said continuing from where Sabo left off.

"To build a mountain of gold for which no one has ever seen. But as I sat before it, the words that were once said to me by a friend came to my mind. 'Gold can't laugh, it's just like a rock.' It's true. The thing I devoted my entire life upon…it was not gold. It was the adventure to find the gold."

"'There's no gold here.'" Nix said continuing the message. "'But instead, a treasure that's even more valuable. To others, this might be worth nothing. To me, this is plenty enough.'"

After a while of the group reading the message, Ganzo turned around. He walked over to the skeletal remains of his friend. He then began looking through his clothes.

"'Please do not destroy this place. This is the place where my most precious treasure sleeps.'" Nix finished as he and everyone looked back towards Woonan's remains.

Ganzo soon found what he was searching for. He unfolded it to reveal a flag that had been ripped, but was sown back together. From it, a piece of paper fell out. Ganzo picked it up and read it.

"Ganzo… Since the day you saved my life. I have always believed in my heart that you were on the same boat as I was, by my side through all these adventures. Because of this I have no regrets about living my life."

"Woonan." Ganzo said solemnly. He then looked at the remains imagining that his old friend sat before him telling him all these things.

"Wow! Gramps is so cool!" Suzy said impressed. "Even out of his entire crew, Woonan had so much faith in him!"

"One is a great pirate," Drake said as he smiled sagely. "One sells oden. But the pride they both had was equal. Really makes you think, doesn't it?"

"Grandpa…" Tobio said touched by Drake's words. He then walked towards his grandfather. "I… I…" He then ran and hugged his grandfather. He cried out, "Sorry!"

"Tobio…" Ganzo said smiling down on his grandfather in pride. "Live the way you want to live. I'll always support you."

Tobio looked up to his grandfather. He wiped away his tears and smiled believing him.

With there being no gold and Woonan's final message received, the group headed back to the boat. Since El Drago's crew had since left the island with their tails between their legs, they were lucky that Ganzo had come. And with him, his boat and their boat along with it.

"You guys leaving already?" Ganzo asked standing before the crew of three.

"Yeah." Sabo said being causal. "The treasure turned out to be a bust. But there is always another adventure on the horizon."

"What will you guys do?" Nix asked curious.

"After we build a grave for Woonan, I will continue my oden shop." Ganzo stated proudly.

"Hey Tobio!" Suzy said as she approached the boy. "Do you still want to be a pirate? I bet Sabo would let you in."

"Suzy…" Sabo said warningly.

"I think…" Tobio said putting some thought into his decision. He then chuckled. "I'll think about it when I leave home again. If I live my life seriously like grandpa I'm sure I'll find the answer one day. Right?"

The Sabo crew chuckled finding the boy's answer satisfying.

Sabo then tipped his hat to two. "We'll be seeing ya, Tobio, Gramps." He said before him and his crew turned and starting walking to their boat.

"Hold on!"

The Sabo crew stopped and everyone turned to see Drake jumping off the Oden boat. He had a bag in his hand. He ran up towards the group.

"Streak?" Tobio said confused.

Once he reached the group, Drake bowed towards Ganzo and Tobio. "Thank you!" He shouted humbly and gratefully. "You took me in with no memory or past when I was hungry and weak, and for that I will always have a debt with you…"

"Blondie…" Ganzo said touched.

"I've regained some of my memory." Drake said as he straighten up. "I know my name is Drake, I know I came from the West Blue, I even remembered by fighting style and goal, but I am still missing something important. I don't think I can search for that important something staying with you."

"What? Is that all?" Ganzo said completely disinterested. "Get out of here. You're just wasting your time here anyway."

"Streak…" Tobio said sad.

Drake rubbed Tobio's head kindly. "Don't worry, Squirt. I'm sure we'll see each other again." He said hopeful.

Tobio sniffed, but kept a brave face and nodded his head.

Drake smiled at Tobio. He then turned to Sabo and his crew. "Sabo, or Captain Sabo, I would like permission to join your crew." Drake said serious.

"You sure you want to join a pirate crew?" Sabo asked curious. "You may find out that you dislike them greatly."

"I'll decide that when the time comes." Drake said keeping his serious tone though smiling confidently. "Besides," Drake added. "If you don't know where you're going, a navigator would be pretty handy, right?"

Sabo looked at the man judging him silently. After a few moments, Sabo smiled then grinned. "Welcome aboard, Drake." Sabo said as he extended his hand to the man.

"Let's all get along." Drake said back as he shook Sabo's hand.

Suzy cheered from on the boat. Nix grinned happy to see another member join their crew.

"Well, what are you waiting for?" Ganzo spoke sounding impatience. "Sail off while the weather is still good! You Treasure Hunters!"

The crew cheered out in ready. They all boarded the boat and set out to sea. They unfurled the sail and caught the wind. As the boat sailed out to the open sea, everyone waved back to Ganzo and Tobio. They, in turn, did the same. In a matter of minutes, the boat was soon out of sight for Tobio and Ganzo. And so, Ganzo and Tobio left the coast for inland to start on the grave. Later, they would tell all of Mahlzeit the good news.

After so long sailing out to sea, the first-mate of the Sabo pirates spoke. "Hey, Drake." Nix spoke to their newest member.

"Yeah?" Drake said as he looked up from his compass.

"You mentioned a goal, what is it?" Nix asked curious.

"Hey yeah. You did mention something like that." Suzy said becoming interested. "What is it?"

"You might as well tell us. We're all curious." Sabo said wanting to satisfy his own curiosity.

"Okay, okay." Drake relented with a laughing smile. "I'm sure you've all heard that the legendary treasure, One Piece, is at the end of the Grand Line, but what if I told you that just as close there was an island full of dragons called Dragon's Nest…"

The entire crew listened on intently.

On a coast covered with a vast plain, a covered wagon caravan of nearly a hundred traveled down a dirt road. Each one of the many wagons was driven by strong oxen. Riding in the wagons was many people all cheerful and joyful. They paid music instruments and sang songs without a care in the world. They followed the dirt road heading for a port town not too far off in the distance. And near that town was a castle of white stone.

At the rear of the caravan, a young girl with snow white hair, ice blue eyes, and freckles pushed aside the cover flaps taking a quick look outside. She wore sleek, black trim pants and white flair dress, but wore combat boots as well. After checking the front, she turned back inside the wagon.

"We're almost there." The teen girl spoke cheerfully. Who she was addressing was a group of people who looked more serious than the people in wagons ahead. Though, they wore clothes similar to the people further ahead.

Not all of them were serious though. A woman walked over to the younger girl with a smile. She had shoulder-length brown hair wearing scarlet bandana. Her outfit consisted of a long, floral skirt with a tan sash around her waist and a white with blue trims wide-sleeved blouse. She did not wear shows curiously.

"Thank you." The woman said appreciative. "We're all ready."

Author's note: Woo! We're finally getting close to the end! One more arc! It may or may not have an extra chapter depending how I feel about by the third chapter. But now, onto...

Fun Facts Time!

This adventure was of my own. It took a lot from the first One Piece movie. I wanted to use the movie to speed along the story to reach its finish.

The name, El Drago, has a name similar to one famous privateer Francis Drake, known as 'El Draco' or 'The Dragon'. He also shares a passion for gold with a classic James Bond villain, Goldfinger.

Drake's, who's fighting style I have dubbed Ryu Thai, attacks are based with dragons in mind. Ironically, in canon, Sabo has his own set. I would like to state that I CAME UP WITH IT FIRST, ODA-SAMA! (Check One Piece: Rise of the Pirate Queen, Drake's first appearance.)
