Love came down at Christmas

On a cold and bitter Christmas night, Harry James Potter found himself meditating in the Astronomy tower of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The day had Christmas had been downright depressing, his two best friends were ignoring him and bickering with each other and he was abandoned yet again.

He sat there gazing into the snow covered grounds when he heard a sound. He looked up and saw a red haired girl he knew all too well. She descended the steps of the upper tower and sat next to him. He smiled and went in for a kiss. Her lips collided with his eyes connected with hers. As they pulled away, Harry was reminded of a poem:

Love came down at Christmas,

Love all lovely, Love divine;

Love was born at Christmas,

Star and angels gave the sign.

"Merry Christmas, Harry my star" said the lass.

"Merry Christmas, Susan, my angel" said Harry, as they both sank into each other's embrace.

Love shall be our token,

Love be yours and love be mine,

Love to God and all men,

Love for plea and gift and sign.

(A Happy Christmas to you all! The title of this short story comes from "Love came down" by Christina Rossetti. Mike the Mad Monk)
