I Don't Own Kirby

Chapter 1

Adjusting

Tuff gazed at his sister, the land rolled past them form outside the car window. She was staring out of the window, her vivid green eyes not really looking for anything at all. He assumed the she was just a worried as he was. Here they were in the back of a car with their father banker, and driving to Sir Meta Knight's ship. Things were just not looking up.

The boy gazed back down at his book, re reading was something he tended to do a lot when he was thinking about something. A lot of things just didn't add up for him, the dagger, the fire, and why Meta Knight was listed as a guardian for him and his sister. But, there was no use thinking too long about it now.

He felt the car stop with a jerk, his gray eyes traveled up at see just outside the front window was the ship. A sinking feeling in his chest made his eyes look into his sisters. She seemed to be having the same feeling as he was. As they opened the car door, and the evening air rushed through their faces, a sense of heaviness was thick.

Tiff readjusted her head band, and held her suite case tight. Tuff gazed to where she was looking, two figures came to his vision, ones he knew well from a young age, Sword Knight and Blade Knight. He and his sister looked at each other unsure, but there was no going back now.

"Hey Tiff, Tuff." Sword said warmly to them, Blade seemed to be smiling at them. The siblings looked at each other again then back at the knights. Both of them having the same thoughts about how long the years would be.

"We heard what happened, I hope you two are doing alright." Blade said to them, Tiff nodded to that. Tuff didn't really want to say anything of the matter, he was too busy thinking about the events. But as Mr. Dawns gave them the papers to give to their sir, he knew that their fate was sealed.

"Well come on, Sir Meta Knight has waited for you two." Sword said in a warm tone. Tiff took a deep breath and gazed at her brother, he nodded to her as they both followed the knights onto the dimly lite ship. As the hatch closed behind them, they were lead down the halls. Dread was the first think Tiff felt, this place had a eerie feel to it.

Sword stopped in front of one room, and nodded to her. She smiled at him the best she could as she entered the room. It had cream colored walls and a nice bed set unlike the bland color of the rest of the ship. The door closed behind her, she placed her suite case on the red and white bed.

Things were going to be different from here on out, be them good or bad. Tiff took a deep breath, and began to unpack. Outside in the hall, Tuff enter his room, it was a darker color than his sisters, but he was alright with that. He nodded thanks to the knights.

"Oh and Tuff, Meta Knight will be coming to get you guys for dinner soon." Blade told him, Tuff nodded again.

"Alright." he said, it think he surprised the knights with how deep his voice has gotten. Unlike the boyish shrill it used to be it was deeper in tone. The door closed, leaving the boy to unpack and get settled. He set his case on his red and white bed and began to unpack. He sorted his clothing in the draws and shoved the case under the bed.

Getting on the bed, and sat indian style and began to finish his book. Although, he was not reading at all, more so skimming through the book that he's already read more than once. His mind wa snow wandering through all that happened. Their parents were killed and now they were staying with a man they haven't seen in seven years. Things just couldn't get any worse and more confusing than this. But, he knew that this was a lie, things could and possible would get more confusing.

Just as he closed his book the door opened again, and there in the door way stood Sir Meta Knight. Tuff gazed at the clock, about an hour had pass, wow. He looked back at the knight, who was gazing evenly at him.

"Come." was all Meta Knight said, Tuff didn't bother to protest as he got up and placed his book down on the dresser. He walked over to the door and looked at his sister come out of her room. They looked at each other and back at the knight, who motioned for them to follow. Tiff shrugged at her brother as they followed, oh how they hoped the years would go by quickly.
