Hi there everyone! This is the first chapter that has ever been written by a Twin Gleek instead of TwinGleeks - that's right, for this chapter I, Charlotte, have gone solo! So I do apologise if it's not that good. Oh yeah, we finally have a copy of 'Frozen' on DVD and it only took all the ironing between us! Also, I'm considering getting a tattoo that says 'Let It Go' with a small snowflake next to it as I have a super hard time of letting things go and it's a personal reminder to myself. Yay or nay? Peace Out! TG101 :-D x

Anna grunted as she heard a wail coming from the wooden crib in the corner of her's and Kristoff's bedroom. Having only given birth to their first child a week ago, she was still understandably sore and whilst it wasn't as painful to move around, she wasn't quite up to going outside just yet. Sighing, the young woman shuffled over, catching the attention of Kristoff.

"And where do you think you're going?" he whispered, resting his head on Anna's delicate shoulder as she stopped, making her jump.

"Taking care of our daughter?" Anna smirked, biting her lip as she moved too quickly. She really needed to stop doing that.

"Need any help?" the older man offered, wrapping a protective arm around his wife.

Anna mused for a second, picking up their daughter's tiny frame, making her mew lightly.

"Hey there sweetie." she cooed, stroking Krista's cheek, frowning as she noticed how cool she felt to the touch. She had noticed this during her pregnancy and after a visit to the trolls, it was revealed that she had inherited Elsa's ice powers.

"Seems to be hereditary." Pabbie mumbled, his face softening as he felt the baby stir against his hands.

"Will she be okay?" Anna asked, her voice barely a whisper.

The old troll sighed and momentarily closed his eyes in thought, before revealing the verdict.

"I don't see why not. But like Elsa, she'll have to learn how to use her powers." he explained, using his staff to help himself back up.

"What if she doesn't?"

Pabbie turned around to face the couple, his eyes looking grave. "If we're not careful, then it could end in yet another winter. Even stronger this time."

Anna nodded in understanding, trying to take it all in. She didn't want to lock her daughter up for all her childhood like Elsa had been but at the same, she really didn't fancy the idea of another eternal winter and she had the gut feeling that Kristoff and Oaken hadn't quite settled their differences.

"Thanks, Pabbie." Kristoff mumbled, ducking his head in thanks.

"No problem." he grunted, placing a reassuring hand on Anna's pregnant belly and looked up at her, noticing the worry in her face.

"Don't worry. She'll be okay."

Later that night, Anna couldn't sleep. She kept on thinking about what Pabbie had said, the conversation playing in her mind over and over again.

Sighing, she tenderly placed a hand on the spot where she felt her daughter move as she stretched out.

"Hey there sweetie, it's Mama here." she whispered shakily, careful not to wake her snoring husband, which was practically impossible as she soon learnt.

"I honestly can't wait to meet you, Krista. You are going to be loved by everyone and even though you've got Aunt Elsa's powers, Papa and I still love you no matter what. I know this sounds crazy but I'm actually a little bit scared for you, not that that's a bad thing or anything, but after what happened a few years ago, it's not hard to see why. You see, Aunt Elsa has these powers that can create snow and ice and one day, everything went wrong and Arrendelle was stuck in an eternal winter so Papa and I had to go to the mountains to make everything right again." the young woman murmured, letting out a grunt as she received a kick to the ribs.

"Love you, too." she muttered dryly, sighing as she buried herself into the warmth of Kristoff's embrace, breathing in his distinct smell of leather, wood and reindeer as she slowly fell asleep

Anna was brought out of her thoughts by the feeling of Krista burying her face into her chest, her small gummy mouth clearly searching for something. The young woman smiled softly as she unbuttoned her pyjama top and let her daughter latch onto her breast, all whilst never letting go of her hand. It was moments such as this one that she dreamed of during her pregnancy and to see it actually happening played havoc on her still raging hormones.

"You okay?" Kristoff asked softly, frowning as he noticed his wife's tear streaked face.

Anna gave him a small smile, before gazing back at the bundle in her arms, which was feeding conentedly, letting out a small grunt every so often.

"Yeah, just hormones." she whispered back, never taking her eyes off Krista.

"How are we going to tell her about her powers?"

The mountain man shrugged, stroking Krista's head with a strong finger, making her turn towards the source of touch. "I don't know." he murmured, chuckling as she tried to suck his finger but to no avail. She let out a small wail as she couldn't understand why no milk was coming out.

"Wrong way, sweetie." Anna mumbled sleepily, shuffling out of her current position to burp her daughter.

Kristoff noticed this and was quick to step in to help, much to Anna's protests.

"Hey c'mon, Gerda specifically told you to rest." he instructed as he started to rub Krista's back, making her bug eyed.

Anna sighed as she stopped halfway to her bed to take a break from the pain of moving. "I know but she needs me."

"I don't know 'bout you, but it sounds like you need her more than she needs you." Kristoff mused, his face brightening as he heard a small burp escape the infant. Krista noticed the difference too and was instantly more relaxed, her small eyelids drooping as she started to fall asleep.

The young woman bit her lip, trying to think what was best. She needed to be with Krista but she also needed her rest as instructed.

As soon as Kristoff put Krista down to sleep, he made his way over to the bed and crawled in, slinking an arm around Anna's shoulder.

"Listen, the best way to think about it is that Krista needs her Mama and her Mama needs her. However, if Mama doesn't get her rest, she won't enjoy Krista and Krista won't enjoy Mama." he whispered, placing a kiss at the side of her temple. He could feel her squirm about, something she always did when she knew she was wrong but didn't want to admit it.

"Fine." she finally mumbled, succumbing to the warmth of both the bed and Kristoff's embrace.

Kristoff shook his head, before blowing out the lantern on his bedside cabinet. He really couldn't believe her at times and if he was honest, he wouldn't of had it any other way.
