Chapter 8

Eating dinner with the Queen of the fire realm was almost too unbelievable, but here was Ray and Bob eating their choices for dinner. "My Queen, aren't you hungry?" asked Bob looking up from his meat.

The Queen looked down at the empty plate then looked back at Bob to answer him. "I have already eaten before you arrived here so I'm full." smiled the Queen.

Ray and Bob continued eating in silence until their plates were empty. "Well that was a delicious meal thank you" bowed Ray from his sit. The Queen smiled as she waved her hands to the maids to clear the plates. "So I have to ask has the King found anything on why Blaze was in the human realm?" asked Ray.

"No, I have not heard anything from my husband, but he should be here with the information soon. He went to one of Blaze's closest friend to see if they knew why he was there or if ne decided to go by himself. Either way we'll know soon." said the Queen taking a sip of her wine.

With Allie and Gabe

"So these are some of the creatures that Ray might see? Will he know how to fight them if he needs too?" asked Allie sounding concerned for Ray and Bob.

Gabe looked up from the tablets to Allie and said "He will be fine. It is actually the King and Queen that I'm concern with right now. The tablets don't have that much information on them or at least I can't find any information on them."

Allie looked around the table and noticed that Gabe was right there was no tablet on the King and Queen. "I wondered why there isn't a tablet for them I thought the library was self updating by magic or chi or something like that." wondered Allie looking over the table. "Are you sure that this is all the information about the castle and what might be in there? Did you happen to miss anything?" asked Allie questioning Gabe.

Gabe looked at the table then at the door that lead to the library. Once he looked back at Allie he said "We can always look again or ask Master Nadia for help."

Allie looked at the library then back at Gabe. "I think thats a good idea. I want to know all this stuff if Ray needs help. We need to be ready." said Allie heading towards the library.

Reaching the library, Allie looked towards Gabe hoping for a direction on where to look first. "Well?! Where do we begin? Do you want to find Master Nadia first or look at the back of fire and hope to get lucky?" questioned Allie watching Gabe's expression.

"Let's find Master Nadia maybe she can point us in the right direction" said Gabe looking around for Master Nadia.

Allie looked around the library to see if there was a hint of Master Nadia. "Do you have an idea on where she is? Or should we just walk around?" asked Allie.

Gabe looked at Allie then looked around. "How about you looked around and I'll go see if I can find her. She has to be here somewhere maybe she is taking care of Blaze or something." said Gabe heading towards the medic bay, leaving Allie in the library to find an answer there.

"Well better get started." Allie clapped her hands and moved towards the fire side of the library. Allie moved through the library with only one thing on her mind how does she tell Ray that he was her mate. "It going to be an odd conversation to have, maybe I shouldn't tell him. Would it be better if I don't tell him? What if I do tell him and he doesn't believe me? Would it change our friendship?" whispered Allie looking over the shelves of books.

Allie stood back so she could see the entire shelf and she could scan the titles of the tablets before she pulled them. Scanning through all the tablets that lined the shelves nothing seemed to pop out for Allie. "How can there be this many tablets with nothing on the King or Queen of the fire realm?" whispered Allie.

"There are tablets about the King and Queen there are just with me at the moment Allie" spoke Master Chavez walking around the shelf. Allie jumped when Master Chavez spoke, but quickly righted herself when she saw him.

"So what do the tablets say about the King and Queen and please tell me that they are fair and just, so Ray isn't walking into a trap or anything." prayed Allie clapping her hands together.

Master Chavez looked at the shelves then turned towards Allie. "There isn't much on them. I believe that the masters before us didn't want anyone to know about the leaders of the realms to protect them. If our enemies were to know what and how the leaders work they can take advantage of that to make them do things for them. We just have to trust that Ray can protect himself and to know when to leave if trouble is coming." said Master Chavez putting his hand on Allie's shoulder.

Allie nodded her head and headed off into the the training arena to wait for Ray to return. "He should be here soon." whispered Allie looking at the center of the arena from her spot on the bleachers. Allie waited there for a few hours before a rift opened within the arena. As she watched the rift opened she was caution as to who or what was opening it, but Allie was really hoping it was Ray and Bob. When the rift fully opened Ray and Bob stepped through and entered the arena.

Ray looked around to see if anyone was there to greet them and he was met with Allie racing towards them. "Allie! Were you waiting long?" Ray asked as Allie raced down the bleachers to him. Allie seemed to fly down the steps towards Ray. When she reached him he jumped straight into his arms. "Wow Allie! Did you miss me or something?" Laughed Ray hugging Allie back.

"I was worried… that you might get Bob killed over there." shrugged Allie trying not to blush at Ray.

Bob looked at Allie and then at Ray before laughing slightly, which he quickly covered up with a laugh. "That was very nice of you Allie, but we did just fine." Smirked Bob watching both Allie and Ray blush back and forth.

"So what happened while you were over there? Did the King and Queen try to kill you? Did they throw you in the dungeon until you talk? Well,... come on what happened over there." said Allie excitedly.

Ray and Bob both looked at each other and then started the whole tell that was mostly lie because they wanted to respect the Queen's rule. (If you guys want me to write a whole story let me know otherwise I'm not. You guys can think of something just as good). "And that's what happen!? We were lucky that they believed us. Otherwise we would still be trapped there." said Ray watching Allie and Gabe for any signs that she didn't believe them.

"That must have been so scary for you guys. I can't imagine what that was like." said Gabe shaking in his boots.

Allie was smiling with excitement or something she had this big old smile on her face. "I bet that was awesome. I mean that castle in a volcano would be so hot and dangerous, but it would still be so cool. So what did they want you to do with their son when he is better?" asked Allie leading the way to Blaze's room.

"They want Bob and I to travel with him to make sure he gets there okay and no more people try to kill him or anything." said Ray walking beside Allie.
