Well I thought I would be nice and post another chapter faster than the normal.

Chapter 12

Normal P.O.V.

-Tom's Study-

Everyone was sitting around the room waiting on some one to break the silence. Lucius cleared his throat to catch everyone's attention.

"Harry, I have to ask you something before explaining anything." Harry nodded at the older man from his place standing in front of the fireplace. "Do you... do you know that you have a creature side?" Harry blinked at the seemingly random question. He turned fully to face the room.

"Well yes... I learned about it recently." Harry's eyes narrowed slightly as some things seem to be slowly connecting. "What does that have to do with anything going on at the moment." Tom gave a small smirk to Lucius, though if the man noticed was unknown to Tom since Lucius's face gave nothing away. Their little mate was smarter than he let others see.

"Harry you may not want to hear this, but-" Lucius started to say.

"Most if not all of my mates are in this room, right?" Harry interrupted while staring into the Veela's steel blue eyes with a hard stare.

"Harry, what are you talking about?" Sirius piped up from his seat by Remus. Harry glanced over at his godfather then returned his hard stare to Lucius.

"So should I say it or should you?" Harry crossed his arms over his thin chest. Lucius tilted his head a bit at the question from the young man.

"Why don't you do the honors." he said with a nod towards Harry.

"Well if I'm right, you, Tom, and Snape are my dominant mates." Harry stated as plainly as he could.

"Yes you are correct. Though I am surprised you are not kicking and cursing at the notion." Tom spoke up from his favorite chair. Harry turned to address Tom but didn't get the chance to say anything.

"NO! I REFUSE TO ALLOW THIS!" Sirius roared while jumping up to grab Harry. What happened next was chaos. Sirius leaped at Harry to grab him; Remus tackled Sirius after seeing Tom and Lucius moving inhumanly fast in front of Harry who had backed up closer to the fireplace.

Which then caused Harry's pant leg to catch on fire causing Harry to yelp in pain and jump away from the two in front of him and closer to Severus who had been standing in the far corner. Severus quickly acted to put Harry out with a little bit of his magic. Harry pressed himself against Severus in fright who then wrapped his arms around Harry in instinct.

Sirius, seeing this, squirmed his way out from under Remus to run at Severus and Harry but was stopped by Tom who had grabbed Sirius's arm and flipped Sirius over his shoulder and pinned him to the ground by pulling Sirius's arm up behind his back. Lucius moved over to where Harry and Severus were; while, Remus tried to get Sirius to calm down.

"Sirius calm down now, you fool!" Remus yelled slightly while taking over pinning Sirius down from Tom. "If that is true then there's nothing we can do or should try to do. As his mates, they will never do anything to harm Harry in any way. Harry will be more than safe with those three as his mates." Sirius said nothing and kept trying to break free.

"You should take him back to the room where Harry was at until he calms down." Tom said while watching Lucius and Severus fuss over their mate like he wanted to. His siren whimpered in his head. It wanted to cuddle with the young submissive but was scared that they would be rejected. Remus pulled the struggling Sirius up and grabbed him by his neck in one hand and kept Sirius's arm behind his back with the other hand. As they left the room, Tom turned fully to watch Harry and the other two. The door opened and shut quickly but the four mates didn't seem to hear it.

"How did I not notice...?" Harry looked up at Severus as he whispered above his head. Severus tightened his hold on the young man and spoke again. "It makes sense... Yet I was blind to it..."

"Um Professor Snape? Are you okay?" Harry asked in concern. Severus just held on to him tighter and buried his face in Harry's hair.

"Severus answer our mate before he starts to think he did something wrong." Lucius could see the worry on Harry's face. Severus pulled back enough to see Harry's face.

"I just can't believe I never noticed it. I just thought my creature saw you as someone to protect because we both saw Lily as a sister, and you are her child." He paused for a second and seemed to be thinking, "It must have been because of my Occlumency shield. It keeps my creature side subdued as well as protecting my mind." Harry decided to follow the almost voice in his head and leaned more into Severus. He then did something none of them were expecting, not even Harry himself; he stood up on his toes and kissed Severus's left cheek.

"Don't beat yourself up about it. There's no way you could have known." Harry said softly while staring into Severus's dark eyes. Harry blushed and stood flat on his feet again and looked away slightly. Severus stood there blinking a bit then picked Harry up and set him in Tom's favorite chair. It was the most comfortable place to sit in his study.

"Harry, what made you do that just now?" Severus asked in a quiet voice. Harry tilted his head and shrugged a bit.

"Some part of my mind wanted me to, but it was the look on your face of self-hate that made me do it. You don't have a reason to feel bad about not figuring it out. I just wanted to make you feel better, and that seemed like a good idea at that moment... Did I do something wrong?" Harry finished in worried small voice as he looked down.

"No, you haven't done anything wrong." Severus ran his fingers through Harry's hair, "I just wanted to make sure your awaking creature side isn't controlling what you decided to do." Harry nodded and leaned into the hand still running through his hair.

"You seem to be taking all of this rather well." Everyone looked over at Tom as he stared at the fire crackling in the fireplace. "Why?" Tom looked over his shoulder then back at the fire. Harry gently took Severus's hand out of his hair then got up to stand behind Tom.

"Why shouldn't I be taking this well? I have three mates that at will at least care about me even... even if they don't love me." Harry looked away from Tom, "I'm sorry." he whispered. The three men looked confused by the apology. Tom turned to the young man.

"Why are you sorry?" Harry crouched in front of fireplace to better watch the flames dance.

"Well you guys are going to be stuck with a plain looking person who has a lot of mental and emotional issues and baggage out the ass. That's why I'm sorry. None of us have any choice in it though... and I can't change who I am or my past." Before any of them could respond, Harry stood faster than his still healing body should have let him. "I want to know something from you all." he said while looking at random books lining the bookshelves.

"What do you wish to know?" Lucius finally spoke up after being quiet for so long.

"Are you three really okay with being my mate..?" Harry pretended to look through one of the books. "Dominates can function quite well without their submissive. Especially if they mate at least once with the submissive to take care of the need to claim and bond with their submissive. So... if that's what suites you three then that's what we will do. As long as we maintain contact with each other every once in a while than that will take care of our creature sides." Harry closed the book and returned it to the shelf. He turned around to face them but found a hand on his throat and darken pissed off eyes staring into his shocked but calm emerald-forest green eyes. Tom got so close, Harry could feel his breath brush against his face.

"Do you know what that would do to you, foolish boy?" he hissed, "That kind of rejection could damage your creature side. It could start to whither away then you would follow. We could kill you, and you are just fine with that?" Tom paused, "Of course you are okay with it you self-sacrificing little-"

"Tom! Enough, I think he can understand that you don't want to do what he suggested. No need to scare the poor boy." Lucius said angrily. Tom didn't move; he held Harry's gaze.

"Well, Harry? Tell us what do you want? Tell us how much you hate that you are stuck with us."

"Tom, stop this." Severus spoke up next. Tom got closer to Harry's face until their noses were touching.

"Tell us." Tom kept pressing. Harry's eyes had started to water a bit at the anger in Tom's eyes.

"Tom-" Lucius tried to start.

"TELL ME!" Tom roared at Harry who squeaked and started to shake a bit. Severus was suddenly behind Tom pulling him away from the frightened Harry as Lucius took took him into his arms. Severus pinned Tom against the nearest wall.

"What the hell, Tom?! What did that get you?! Scaring away your submissive that seems to think you don't want him when really you want nothing more than to keep him by your side and safe, what kind of logic is that?!"

"T-Tom... is that true? Do you want me...?"

-With Remus and Sirius-

Remus threw open the door of Harry's temporary room and pushed him in. He shut the door and locked it just in time for Sirius to come tackling him into it. Remus spun around and pinned Sirius to the door.

"Let me go damn it!" Sirius growled and gnashed his teeth together. Remus hated pulling the mate card in such situations, but he had no choice right now. Remus growled lowly in his throat and let Moony come to the front.

"Enough." Sirius froze and felt his body going limp. "This isn't something you can change. This is something that Harry must deal with." Sirius whimpered and let his head hang a bit.

"But what if he doesn't want this...?" Sirius looked up at his mate in worry. Remus calmed then sighed.

"Why do you think that?"

"They are much older than him, and they all have very strong dominant personalities. What if they push him into things he doesn't want?" Remus understood now. Sirius overreacted, but it was for a good reason. Sirius just wanted to make sure Harry could make his own decisions for once. He was trying be a father. Remus relaxed then kissed Sirius's forehead.

"You worry to much, my little puppy."

Let me know what you thought. See Ya!
