Pokémon Black and White AU

(A/N: I don't own anything and read last chapter!)

It took another two hours for Ash and the others to calm the frantic Delilah enough for Ash to start the journey with the group of girls…and even then Ivy waited until they were ten minutes away from the town before fretting over Ash motherly…although not as babying as Delilah thank goodness.

"You just had to say that didn't you?" Sabrina asked sighing as she looked at Ash as they walked along the path, Ivy taking note of the new or differently colored Pokemon around them in between her fretting over Ash.

"Sorry. My brain to mouth filter was on the fritz." Ash said dryly in return, cause in hindsight it really wasn't the best thing to say in front of two overprotective mother figures…one of which is a world renowned Pokemon Professor the other is his birth mother.

"You have a brain to mouth filter?" Cynthia asked raising an eyebrow curiously at the young man who gave a sheepish grin.

"…It's on lay a way?" Ash offered causing Sabrina and Cynthia to snort in amusement while Ivy merely smiled fondly and shook her head in exasperation. White was snickering behind one hand at the interactions as she observed them amused.

"Only you Ash." Ivy said fondly, a maternal smile on her face as she looked at Ash who gave her a crooked grin and a shrug of his shoulders. White snickered slightly harder when Cynthia and Sabrina both blushed at the crooked grin.

"Let's just get to the first gym." Ash said turning from the professor while White nodded and led the way through the woods towards the next gym.

"Any advice?" Ash asked grinning at White who snorted and gave him a look.

"Yeah, don't go easy on her. She's tough as heck for most people just starting out." White said causing Ash to grin.

"I never planned on going easy on her. I have a few Pokemon from Kanto, aside from Pikachu, who would love to battle again." Ash said smirking and causing Ivy to smirk while the two girls on either side of Ash looked worried.

"You're not going to use that overpowered Charzard of yours are you?" Cynthia asked remembering all the times she had seen that Charzard fight…it was way overpowered compared to normal Charzards.

"Nah. I'll save him as a surprise…but that doesn't mean I don't have others that are strong and want to fight. In fact a friend of mine sent me one of the Pokemon I met before and he's raring for a fight." Ash said smirking darkly as he tapped a Luxury ball on his belt pointedly.

"Really?" Sabrina asked curiously.

"Yeah, apparently Lucario didn't die in the World Tree and instead was frozen in time. Somehow Queen Ilia got him free and he decided he wanted to travel with me, so she gave him to me before I left Pallet Town." Ash said smiling fondly as he thought about his friend and the Queen who was the descendant of someone who many claimed was either his ancestor or previous incarnation.

"You know Queen Ilia?" Cynthia asked wide eyed and causing Ash to give a sheepish grin and rub the back of the neck.

"I won the tournament they were having for the position of 'Knight' as part of a celebration…then ended up going on an adventure with an old Lucario who knows how to use aura which involved the World Tree, Mew, and the Regi's…" Ash trailed off grinning sheepishly and shrugging his shoulders awkwardly as the four women stopped walking and just looked at him for a moment.

"How can you say that with such an innocent expression?" Cynthia wondered staring at the boy wide eyed and causing him to shrug slightly.

"It wasn't the craziest adventure I've had."
