In his lair in Magic School, Gideon angrily paced back and forth. The only sound that could be heard from him were enraged soft grunts. He went like this for a good five minutes before he suddenly stopped straight in the middle of his walking. A crazed look came over his blue eyes as he stared up at one of the numerous books on the shelves the were arranged in his room. Quickly grabbing it, he peeked at the pages within, and a demented grin grew on his face.

"Balance has been tipped by the Twice-blessed and the future boy," the book in his hands flew onto his table while flipping onto a page about cursing a weapon, "And an act of 'great evil' will fix it."

With this, he pulled out a deadly looking dagger with a disturbing cackle.

"Give him his powers back," Piper frowned before her expression took on a more melodious look. "As much as I would love to let you keep them."

"Sure," Chris smiled as he was raised his arms much like he had done only to frown, "Uh...We have a problem."

"What?" Leo asked as he leaned closer towards Chris, "What's the problem?"

"Well," Chris' tone grew a bit colder as he glared at the man a few feet from him, "I can't return them."

"Why not?"

"Because I never learned how it was done," His gaze darkened as he stared at the Elder who flinched, "I only saw how to take powers not return them."

"I'm sorry, son-" Leo begin as he tried to grab his son's shoulder only for the half-Elder to move away.

"Don't call me that!" The brunette shouted with a temper to match Piper's. "I'm not your son! As far as I'm concerned, you're just the guy who helped create me, Leo."

The whole family recoiled at the angry exclamation. Leo's face drained of almost all color as he realized that his son actually despised him. Phoebe gripped her head in agony as waves of anger, disappointment, and sorrow crashed into her from her empathy. Piper and Paige looked on with wide, startled eyes. Before anyone could speak up, the young man continued.

"The Leo in my future was always sorry!" Chris stated angrily as he mocked the man in a somewhat Leo sounding voice, "Sorry for this! Sorry for that! Sorry, I couldn't be there! Sorry, I couldn't make it, I was busy!"

"Chris!" Piper roared as she was knocked out of her stupor, "Stop it right now, Christopher Perry Halliwell!"

"No!" Leo interrupted the love of his life, "Let him talk. Maybe he can finally get some things off of his chest, and I can learn how to fix it so it won't happen again."

"Oh, but you'll never change Leo!" Chris stared ahead at the Book of Shadows, "I've waited twenty-two years. I'm done getting my hopes up."

"Chris, I told that I would be there for you! I promised that I would be." Leo stated determinedly as he looked into identical emerald eyes, "And I'm going to. But you have to try too."

"Oh, like your little 'trust is a two-way street' thing that you told me about when you didn't trust me up on the bridge?" Chris snarled before he shook his head, "No. I'll just take my chances as they are. Besides, the sooner we get Gideon caught, the sooner I can leave."

With that, he began orbing away, "But that doesn't matter because, afterall, Wyatt's all that matters."

The family gaped at him as he drifted away. They knew he was angry at the Elder, but they never knew he was this cross.

"I'm going to look for him," the blond also orbed away before the girls could protest.

"What is this?" Piper asked, "Orb away from everyone day?"

"Geez," Paige looked at her older sister, "I didn't leave yet."

"Guys!"

"What?" The two siblings glanced at their middle sister.

"This is no time to fight!" Phoebe stated as she moved to the book, "We have to get going on a plan to stop that Elder."

"Yeah," Leo orbed back into the room and sat down, "I think he knows that we know about him."

"Why?" Piper questioned as she raised an eyebrow.

Leo didn't say anything. He removed a torn piece of cloth from his pocket. It was from Chris' clothes.

"Give it to me." Phoebe whipped it out of the Elder's hands as she was thrown into a premonition.

At first, Phoebe was confused. Everything was a bright blueish color. She had no idea how this vision had anything to do with her nephew. Soon although, she found out when she stared at a cavelike room. She was seeing the vision through Chris' vision. She felt very annoyed as she looked around the area until she tried to orb only to be unable to leave. Before she could think of a spell or using some other power to get away, a bright fireball flew at her at the corner of her eye. She flinched as it barely missed her head as her body dropped out of the way.

She was violently knocked onto the floor as her vision ended none too softly. The others gathered around her as she painfully got up from her spot.

"We need to find him," she declared as the others moved to grab various items to scry for their son and nephew.

"What did you see?" Leo asked as he looked at the recovering witch.

"Chris is being hunted by some demon or, at least, someone who has the power to conjure fireballs," Phoebe said as the others came back with the supplies, "We have to find him! I don't think he has much time left."

They all looked worriedly at each other before Leo tried sensing for him and the other three tried scrying.
