The magic settled throughout Skull Island, allowing everyone to rise to their feet and see Peter flying higher into the age. Wendy Darling's voice echoed in their minds and collectively, Neal, Emma, and Regina looked to Henry. He'd been knocked back like the rest of them, but he wasn't getting up.

"Henry!" Emma shot up and ran across the distance. She collapsed by her son, who had his wonderful bright brown eyes closed – a dribble of blood stained the corner of his mouth. "No...no, no, no, no, no, no – No!" Emma screamed at the top of her lungs. At some point, Neal and Regina had crossed. Neal held her shoulders and turned her to cry into his chest. Regina clamped a hand over her mouth, fighting back the sobs.

Peter could feel it – Henry's heart. It beat with every pulse of magic through his veins. It was something like euphoria. What he could do for Neverland – the possibilities were endless.

But one thing first.

His hand turned and sent a flash of magic at the adults. They were pushed away from Henry far away. Peter sunk down, glaring at all of them with sharp eyes. He walked closer with calculated steps.

Emma stared at Pan, wondering what new terrible thing he could do next. When Peter kneeled beside Henry, she sprung to life. "You get away from him!" She raced to stop him, bouncing off whatever barrier Peter had apparently created back into Neal's arms.

Peter smirked a little – he couldn't help it – but it faded off as he stared down at this face. One hand snuck beneath Henry's neck, pulling him closer. "Time to wake up, Henry." He whispered, just loud enough for Henry to hear. He leaned even closer, fitting his lips against Henry's.

It was a chaste kiss, but still – it did its part. When Peter pulled away, Henry had his colour back and the blood at his mouth gone. He had no energy, so he didn't open his eyes. That was alright; he'd wake up soon.

Peter adjusted himself, pulling Henry up into his arms as he stood with Henry's arms around his neck. He looked at the shocked, confused parental faces. He smiled. "True Love's Kiss." Peter flew out of Skull Island.
