Heart: Aww...you're defending your lover!
Amu: *sputters* I-he-I-he's not my lover!
Ikuto: Ah, that hurt, Amu. *puts hand over heart and pats* Right here.
Heart: Meh, whatever. I don't want to start the story with the couple arguing.
Amu: We are NOT a couple! *turns red*
Heart: I better be invited to the marriage.
Ikuto: Sure.
Amu: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Heart: Enjoy the story!

Amu groaned. It was way too early for her to sleep, she just wanted to be alone for awhile.
Amu sighed. She knew it wasn't that it wasn't very nice of her to say that to Ikuto. He's probably mad.
Amu grumbles inside her head. Well, it's because he drugged Tadase-kun! Anyone else would've reacted the same way! Hmpf!
Yet Amu still tossed and turned, unable to sleep. The tiny piece of guilt for yelling at Ikuto ate away at her. She sighed.
I'll apologize tomorrow, on Sunday (A/N: I didn't even know what day it was in the story, so today's Saturday.)
Amu fell asleep...
...about two hours later...
"Amu..."
"..."
"Amuuuuuuuuuuuu..."
"...zzz..."
"Wow, I never knew you drool in your sleep."

*snap* "There. Blackmail."
"...zzz..."
"Amu, wake up, I have something to say."
"...umpf..."
Ikuto started to shake Amu. "Seriously, Amu. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaake uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuup!"
"AAAAAAA-"
"SSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHH! Do you want your parents to come here and see me?! I don't want your dad to catch me here!"
In the corner of her eye, Amu saw that Utau was sleeping peacefully in her sleeping bag. "Huh? How did Utau get here?"
"Oh, she was on a date with Kukai. They came a bit late, so then your mom said there was a new 'house rule'. Curfew sucks."
"Oh, when do we have to be back home?"
"She said the latest is 9 o'clock, and if we're any later, we have to call her to tell her."
"Huh, you have cell phones?"
"Yeah, your mom said they're temporary, until we can get out of the house. She said she doesn't mind, though. She said we're all good kids and she doesn't mind raising us until we get married."
"Yeah, I can see Utau and Kukai getting married."
Ikuto smirked. "Your mom was talking about us, too."
"WHA-mmpf."
"Seriously, do you want your dad to come barging in and yelling at me for being in the same room as you?!"
"Umm...sorry." Amu blushed. "But we are not getting married!"
"Hmm...that's what your father said, but it was kinda like, 'NOOOOOOOOOOO, MY DEAR BABIES ARE LEAVING THE NEST TOO SOOOOOOOOOON! NO, TSUKIYOMI, DON'T STEAL MY BABY!'"
Amu giggled lightly. "Hahahha, that does seem like my dad would be screaming about!"
Ikuto laughed as well.
"So...anyways...why are you here?" Amu asks.
Ikuto stared into Amu's eyes and sighed. "I...just wanted to apologize."
Amu gazed into Ikuto's violet eyes and blushed, silently thanking that it was dark so he couldn't see her blushing.
"Y-yeah. So? You apologized, now what?" Amu said, trying to pull out her "cool n' spiciness" out.
Ikuto smirked. In the dark, all Amu could see were his vibrant purple eyes. "So...you forgive me?"
Amu shrugged, then remembered that Ikuto couldn't see. "Yeah, I guess."
Ikuto gave a genuine smile, then, but Amu couldn't see. "Goodnight, then." Ikuto patted Amu's head and was about to leap off her bed until he turned around again. "Hey...can I sleep on your bed with you?"
Amu blushed while glaring at Ikuto. "OF COURSE NOT YOU PERVERT!"
Ikuto hissed at Amu. "You idiot! Now your parents are going t-"
"AMU! IS THERE A PERVERT IN YOUR ROOM?! YOUR DADDY BIRD WILL SAVE YOU!"
"Oh, god."
